The Heart of a Leader
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan divulges details on some Sunnahs that are easy to practice and are the small Sunnahs. But some are difficult to follow and one such Sunnah is talked about in Surah Ale Imran that has Ayahs that depicted the situation after the Battle of Uhud. In the face of an anticipated and assured victory, the Sahabas who were guarding the Uhud Mountain began to walk downwards which gave the opportunity for the enemy army to attack and this is how the Prophet ﷺ got injured as his tooth fell off. The imminent victory was squashed just because the Sahabas didn't obey their leader - Prophet Muhammad ﷺ even as he requested them multiple times.
Special love and care from Allah made the Prophet ﷺ soft, sweet and kind to the Sahabas despite their mistake. Allah says that if you were to make them uncomfortable and difficult, then the situation would have been difficult to anticipate given the gravity of their mistake.
Listen intently as Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan unravels the different qualities of a leader.

Islam vs Culture
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan talks about how Allah made us into different kinds of people and diverse tribes so that we can recognize each other and learn about other cultures and societal norms. This would help better our practices and imbibe goodness from different people and cultures. Allah has designed it all in this manner.
Whether Muslim or not, the problems arise when some practices within a culture become unfair. Our Deen came into being to correct that which is corrupt, unfair and unjust.
Some practices show the clear contradiction between Islam and culture adopted by many cultures. We need to understand that when Allah has shown the way, we are no one to stand in the way and make our own rules and norms and regulations that contradict Islam and then we wonder where the Mercy of Allah vanishes. We are to blame because we have violated the basics of Deen and have disobeyed Alla and invited His wrath upon us!

Buried Alive
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan communicates to us some of the sensitive lessons in the Qur'an.
He begins by divulging details about the Day of Judgement. It makes for a very engaging listen.
Also described at length is the sickness of Arab minds regarding women and their perceived weakness of women. Allah speaks about their fate on the Day of Judgement - those who were tortured because of their weakness and inability to fight back. This is also true in the case of children who are tormented, beaten, abused and what not. This leads to horrible repercussions which is talked about in the lecture.

Muslims Under Pressure
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan sheds ample light on the positive attributes of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ even in the face of immense pressure and adversities.
Muslims will always continue to be in pressure at any age and what we believe is going to be offensive to other people from other religions and other walks of life.
While the Prophet ﷺ was called Sadiq and Ameen before the advent of Islam, but with the Message of Allah being delivered by the Prophet ﷺ came names such as liar being given to him. Allah tells us to always be afraid of Allah and not of His creations. We should be steadfast in our quest for Islam if we want to stand comfortably on the Day of Judgement.

She Debated The Prophet saw
In this khutbah our learned Sheikh touches on the four verses from Surah Mujadilah that Allah sent down in answer to a woman's lament to the Prophet SAW.
Rather than Allah reprimanding the woman for debating with His Messenger Allah actually gives space to someone who is hurting. Allah scolds not the woman but the man who utters unacceptable speech that offended Allah Who named the womb with His own name - Ar-Rahman.
This is an important passage for the ummah of Muhammad SAW. Hold your tongue. Verbal abuse in families is not light. Remember Allah heard the conversation within those walls and Allah will hold to account verbal abuse in family relationships.

Fight the Qaroon Inside - Part 3
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan gives a final lecture on taking lessons from the story of Haroon AS who is the brother of Musa AS.
Doing Israf, spending luxuriously and showing off are acts that are detested beyond measure in Islam as it sets a false standard for people to follow who may not be well off or financially stable. This sets forth into motion a conundrum of problems such as debts, Riba, etc, which sends us into a turmoil and from which there is no return.
We need to be authentic people and delete all fake influences and supposedly good standards of happiness. Listen intently to discover how we can stay away from these false facades and make us content with what we have and be a source of happiness and contentment for others.
