I den allmänna villervallan runt Bidens avhopp, Kamalas tillträde, Netanyahus besök i USA (som fick avbrytas i förtid av den Iranskstödda terrorarmén Hezbollahs attack på en Israelisk by som ledde till tolv drusiska barns död), och Israels lönnmord på Hamas ledare Ismail Haniye är det lätt att tappa tråden. Natten mellan den 30 och 31 Juli 2024 dödar Israel Hamas högste ledare Ismail Haniye i Teheran. Det är en handling som tydligt säger ”var du än är och vem du än är kommer vi att ta Dig”. Extra pikant blir det när mordet utförs i Irans huvudstad strax efter att Haniye varit i parlamentet för att bevittna installationen av Irans nye president.
