Daniel teaches Orthodox theology and Church history in the Faculty of Divinity at Trinity College, University of Toronto. Deacon Gregory also holds a PhD in Religious Studies, having written on the place of demons in the theological writings of St Augustine of Hippo. They are homeschooling moms and understand the daily struggle to find time for spiritual activities amid the demands of housework, schoolwork, and the rest. They strive to live in sync with the church calendar but it is difficult to juggle information from Scripture, the Synaxarion, prayer books, and the liturgical calendar. To solve this problem they created Parousia Press, which creates organizing tools and homeschooling resources that keep Christ, Scripture, saints, feasts, and fasting before us every day.
