There is a great book making its rounds in North American Evangelicalism called Gentle and Lowly by Dane Ortlund. It’s a good (not great) book. But is it the RIGHT book? Jesus chastised the Pharisees for failing to read the signs of their times... of course Christ was gentle and lowly, but he was also bold and courageous... which Christ-like characteristics are most needed for the times in which God has placed us?
