Brief Answers to Important Christian Questions
In this rebroadcasted pair of interviews from Stand to Reason's #STRask Podcast, J. Warner Wallace is on a timer and answers questions about free will, consistent pro-life views, Jesus dying for sin, the Black Lives Matter movement and the truth value of Christianity: If the ability to do otherwise is a requirement of love, then given our new natures, how will we love the Lord in the new earth? How would you reply to this: If pro-lifers were sincere about when life begins, wouldn't they have funerals for miscarriages? Why did Jesus have to die for us? What is a Christian response to the Black Lives Matter movement? How would it affect your life if you suddenly recognized that Christianity is just another false man-made religion? To listen to additional Stand to Reason podcasts, please visit their archive page. As many of you may know, our wonderful sister in Christ, Melinda Penner (the host who is interviewing J. Warner on this podcast) suffered a serious brain injury and is recovering slowly. Please pray for Melinda as we continue to celebrate her work as a Christian apologist and ambassador.

Is Jesus Simply a Copy Cat of Mithras?
In this blast from the past, J. Warner examines the historicity and nature of Jesus Christ. Before we can even look at who Jesus claimed to "be", we need to make sure He existed in the first place. Critics claim that Jesus is simply a re-telling of the Mithras mythology, copying Mithras' virgin birth, death and resurrection and many other similar details. But is Jesus truly similar to Mithras? Are there good reasons to expect ancient seekers to create a God that is similar to the true God of the universe?

How the Rules of Evidence Can Ready Evangelism – Part 2
In this episode of the Cold-Case Christianity Broadcast, J. Warner continues to discuss the practices and principles of good investigators and applies these techniques to the Christian worldview. When juries are asked to evaluate a case, they are instructed in the rules of evidence. In this episode, J. Warner discusses three important evidence instructions: 1. Possibilities are irrelevant, 2. The more cumulative the case, the more reasonable the conclusion, and 3. Witnesses are reliable unless demonstrated otherwise. J. Warner demonstrates how a proper understanding of these rules can help you prepare people to hear the case for Christianity. This approach is described in more detail in Forensic Faith: A Homicide Detective Makes the Case for a More Reasonable, Evidential Christian Faith. Be sure to check out Forensic Faith and the accompanying curriculum.

When juries are asked to evaluate a case, they are instructed in the rules of evidence. In this episode, J. Warner discusses three important evidence instructions: 1. The fact the other side can make a case doesn't mean it's true, 2. Everything has the potential to be used as evidence, and 3. Whoever makes the claim, has the burden of proof. J. What About All Those Evil Christians?
In this blast from the past, J. Warner examines the challenge offered by skeptics who claim that occasional evil behavior on the part of Christians invalidates Christianity. Do people like Hitler and groups like these demonstrate that Christianity is just another mistaken worldview? J. Warner answers these questions and listener email related to the supernatural nature of the Bible and archaeological evidence for the Exodus.
