A 25-year-old Michigan nursing student was gunned down in cold blood by her 26-year-old ex-boyfriend who later admitted to the killing in a chilling phone call to his parents. Investigators said Justin Wendling, a doctor, fatally shot Gina Bryant at a truck stop in Illinois before fleeing to Iowa.
