6 Ways Your Hobbies Can Help You Be Even More Successful

Time is of the essence. Time is the only resource that cannot be controlled or generated. Because of this reason, many goal-driven people strive to learn how to maximize their valuable time and improve productivity with the finite amount of time available to all of us.By consistently working on improving at time management, there has been a significant increase in workaholism. Some have simply erased the line that should create the much-needed balance in their lives. It may seem counter-intuitive for you to carve time out of this limited resource for something as inconsequential as a hobby, but the powers and value of hobbies are not to be overlooked and underestimated. Many highly successful entrepreneurs carve out time from their busy routines for their hobbies. Others learn new habits and add them to their growing list. What these two types of people can agree on is that having a hobby outside of work is beneficial. Why?  Listen in!!---For more help on creating your ideal business and ideal life, reach out to me today to schedule your complimentary consultation.  I help business professionals make more money, work less, and enjoy even better work life balance. Want more business success tips and resources? What’s Inside the Mind of a Master Procrastinator?

We're all guilty of putting off a task because "I don't feel like doing it" or "I'll do it later." If you wait until the last moment to get started on your task, you may be wondering why you procrastinated.  Tim Urban, founder of the famous blog, Wait But Why, is no exception. Urban shared a story of his 90-page senior thesis in college and how he spent months thinking, 'I'll get it started on it tomorrow.' Unfortunately, tomorrow never came, and months passed by without writing a single word. Then suddenly, Urban had only three days until the deadline. Thus, he pulled two all-nighters and finished a project that required months within 72 hours. And the thesis was terrible. When you understand the underlying causes of procrastination, you can identify the right strategies to overcome them. As a result, you reach your full potential and start chasing your dreams. What Goes Inside the Minds of Master Procrastinators?Tim Urban, in his TED talk, built a framework representing the procrastinator's system: ·         The Rational Decision-Maker·         The Instant Gratification Monkey ·         The Panic MonsterMaster procrastinators procrastinate in the following ways: 1. Identify Your Limiting Beliefs for Limitless Potential

Growth is a human need, and we all have desires and goals in life. Maybe you want to start your own business, change your career, change your business model, or you want to strengthen your relationships.  But something inside you is constantly nagging you, telling you can’t do it, you shouldn’t do it, and you mustn’t do it. Here’s the plain truth: that tugging feeling stopping you is an excuse – it’s a falsely conditioned perception of reality based on old memories. The fact is that the only thing stopping you from achieving new heights and personal greatness is your limiting belief system. To become the most powerful version of yourself, you need to identify and overcome your limiting beliefs.  Belief is a state of mind – when you’re confident that something truly exists. It is something that an individual trusts to be facts, thus making it troublesome for you to identify them. These beliefs, unfortunately, limit you from recognizing your true potential and achieving even greater success in all areas of business and life. In most cases, the beliefs you hold are unconscious thoughts that manifest as defense mechanisms. How Do You Identify Limiting Beliefs? Limiting beliefs resemble mental barriers hindering you from achieving your goals and unlocking your true potential. The beliefs you hold can inhibit you from creating the reality you desire and deserve. What are three easy ways to overcome your limiting beliefs? 1. Acknowledge that Your Beliefs are Not Truths and Challenge Them 2. Organize Your Environment 3. Change Your Self-TalkRemember that you are capable of anything and that you are in total control of your life. You need to identify and overcome your limiting beliefs to enable yourself to achieve your dreams.    It’s time to let go of your limiting beliefs and reach new and greater heights.  For more help on changing your limiting beliefs to empowering beliefs, so you can create your ideal business and ideal life, reach out to me today and schedule your complimentary consultation.Download my Are Your Limiting Beliefs Stopping You from Achieving Your Goals? 7 Time Management Tips to Increase Your Productivity

As a business owner, it’s hard to find enough time in the day to get everything done. From managing your team to guiding the trajectory of your business, it feels like you’re constantly bouncing from task to task but never really getting as much done as you need to and want to.By putting a solid time management system in place, you can automate as much as possible, so you can focus your brain power on the activities that truly need your attention. I’m going to share seven tips that can help you to establish a system that works for you and will help you to take back your very valuable time, so you can be even more productive, and increase your overall success.1. Use Time Blocking on Your CalendarIt can be very easy to be pulled in multiple directions throughout the day and try to multitask your way through a never-ending to-do list. By using time blocking for specific activities each day, you can focus on one thing at a time. For example, if you block off 11:00am to 11:30am to catch up on and respond to emails, then do your best to NOT check emails the rest of the day. If you need to, you can have two (or more, depending on your needs) time slots for emails throughout the day. I strongly recommend that you don’t have the “check email” time block as the first activity you do each day of the work week. For more on time blocking, go to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/how-to-increase-your-business-efficiency-with-calendar-time-blocks/. You can also use time blocking to dedicate specific days of the week to certain areas of your business. For example, Mondays could be for reaching out to new partners or vendors, Fridays could be a strategy day, Wednesdays could be for client acquisition and revenue generation activities.Time blocking helps you to group tasks by projects or task type, so you can focus on one type of task at a time. If you’re responsible for content creation, such as writing blog posts, it may be easier to knock out a couple of posts within an hour than to do one blog post and then shift your mindset to working on company finances. In other words, do as many similar activities together as possible for maximum time efficiency.Having a set schedule that includes when to work on certain activities, whether it’s written or on your phone, saves you from taking time to think about what to work oUnlock a blueprint to creating and having your ideal business and ideal life by scheduling your free consultation with me today! Want more proven business success tips and resources? How to Re-Evaluate and Re-Set Your Goals for Increased Success

Today we are talking about 5 Tips on How to Re-Evaluate and Re-Set Your Goals for Increased Success. As an entrepreneur, you most likely have a list of goals for your business. But setting it and forgetting it isn’t the way to go. It’s important to revisit your goals periodically to make sure they still align with your vision. The business landscape may change, or new trends may pop up, bringing new opportunities to re-examine your goals and shift your focus. Re-evaluating your goals also allows you to measure your progress and make adjustments where necessary. When should you take a closer look at your goals? You should be checking in with yourself and your team consistently, whether that’s weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Apart from the consistent check-ins, you can also revisit your goals when there are changes in your organization, such as a shift to remote work, new technology innovations, a growing team across multiple locations, or an acquisition or merger.Use these five tips, I’m about to share with you, to help you re-evaluate and re-set your goals!1. Start with your long-term, larger goals. What is the longer-term vision for your company? What is it that you want to accomplish or solve for? Write down your long-term goals, ideally documented for your team to look at also. A study conducted by Professor Gail Matthews found that people who write down their goals are 20% more successful in accomplishing them than those who don’t. Your team should be clear on what your company’s goals are, so that everything they do helps push the company forward towards those goals.Once you have a list of your larger goals, break them down into smaller goals with a milestone of when you want to achieve them. By having a milestone in place, it gives you an actionable date to work towards, and you can track your progress along the way.For example, if your long-term goal is to sell your business, a smaller goal might be to secure several major partnerships and clients. Set a specific, actionable goal for the quarter, such as “Secure [type of partnership] partnership with [target partner] by [date].” Hitting those smaller goals will help you to work towards the larger vision.2. Determine what’s working or not working.Do your business goals still serve your target audience in the best way possible?
