I am a former professional golfer, turned entrepreneur. I am passionate about inspiring others by sharing real stories. After my short athletic career, I found myself at a crossroad. Actually, more like I found myself at a dead end. My whole life was dedicated to one thing, golf! I had a dream to play on the PGA Tour, teeing it up next to Tiger Woods, Sunday at the Masters. So, when that dream was not realized, I had to hit the restart button on my life. After numerous failed business idea, including, attempts to start an online golf business, car dealership, online Shopify store, and an attempt to become an international real estate agent, I realized, I needed serious help! So, I turned to my father Paul Morgan. Paul had his own business writing business plans and helping others start successful businesses. So, with my tail between my legs, I went to my father and asked for help. I actually started working with him and it was there I realized, I wasn't the only one struggling to start a business. Others were trying to create their dream life, and others were failing. I was confused, I thought, "there had to be a missing link." So, I started on my journey of personal development. I read books, bought programs, listened to podcasts, all in an attempt to figure out the missing link. What were I and others doing wrong? One day I came across, EOFIRE and my life literally changed in an instant. I thought, how genius it was to interview and learn from other successful people! If I could do that, I could ask all the questions I wanted to ask but couldn't. Hence, the beginning of The Daily Grind Business Podcast. But, that is just the start. After about 200 interviews, I was hearing some common advice. Find mentors, "you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with", ask for help, and create winning habits. I kept hearing this voice, one step at a time, keep moving forward. I boiled it down to 1 THING, "PROGRESS". The secret to happiness is to make progress every single day, no matter how small the step, as long as we continue to make progress, we can start to change our circumstance. So, that became my mission, to help others make continual progress through the practice of daily behaviors. If this is resonating with you, you probably want to stick around, check out the show, and even check out my Inner Circle Group. I am looking forward to helping you as others helped me, create the life I could only dream of.........Follow the Just Get Started Podcast on Instagram at @justgetstartedpodcast or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justgetstartedpodcast and to learn more about me and what’s going on in my world check out https://www.brianondrako.com/now/ or find me on Instagram at @brianondrako or twitter @brianondrakoAs always, I’d appreciate a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts if you believe I’ve earned it. -> Leave a Review Hosted on Acast. Episode 88 features the Founder of Wilder Supply Co., Rick Wilder. Had such an unbelievable conversation with Rick about how he got all the way from Alabama to Alaska and how his love for aviation helped him get there. This is such a great story that you are never too old to take a chance on yourself and discover new adventures if you have a work ethic and drive to do better.Find Rick Online:Website: www.wildersupply.comInstagram: www.instagram.com/wildersupplycoFacebook: www.facebook.com/wildersupplycoAbout Rick:Our journey began with a simple idea and a compelling passion. In the 1990s while working as an air-traffic controller in Alaska, Rick Wilder discovered a growing aspiration to form a community of people who were driven by a mutual desire. That was, to restore the fading concept of the multi-generational, family-owned and operated small business. Over twenty years later, Wilder Supply, Co. has become the embodiment of that exact ambition. We function as a small community here on the Farm and esteem each member, endeavoring to uphold our community’s standards and values. As individuals, we are equally devoted to our common passions of spiritual purpose, community, Wilder Supply, and simple and organic living. These concepts form the foundation of our company and bind us together as a family and as a business. As true-life Off-Grinders, we have come to prize our land and the resources naturally available to us. We make it a personal creed to be effective stewards and managers of each acre of land on our farm. In part of maintaining an organic and simple lifestyle, when possible we utilize what is locally available to provide food, heat, water, and power for our community. In our daily lives, we are dedicated to living in harmony with the land and concern ourselves deeply with everything we put in, around, and on our bodies. Our way of life has fueled our company’s mission to harvest products that are both nourishing to the body and are correspondingly enjoyable. We would not dare provide a product that we, ourselves, would not and do not use and love.On the Farm, we uphold the view that life is a journey and find great joy in experiencing every step of our path as a community-based company. We truly value each day we live and strive to embrace life’s adversities and propensities. This perspective challenges us to be an energetic, creative workforce and find positive aspects in all seasons and situations. We make it a goal to confer this outlook into the quality of our products and services as we build relationships with our friends and customers.Wilder Supply is not just a business, but the concept of a movement; a movement to change the way family businesses are conducted and to spur others on to form thriving communities around the world. We invite you to participate in the movement by forming a lasting partnership with us. We promise to not only produce exquisite products but to exemplify the type of family business that will make you proud.........Follow the Just Get Started Podcast on Instagram at @justgetstartedpodcast or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justgetstartedpodcast and to learn more about me and what’s going on in my world check out https://www.brianondrako.com/now/ or find me on Instagram at @brianondrako or twitter @brianondrako As always, I’d appreciate a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts if you believe I’ve earned it. Preslie Hirsch (Ep.86) - Founder, Hey Preslie Collective
Episode 86 takes a little twist from the normal course of action as I bring on a fellow Podcaster, Preslie Hirsch, to speak about her journey and her entrepreneurship endeavors with Coaching, Nutrition, Podcasting, and other things. However, we also do a jam session where we exchange questions and conversation around a variety of topics such as getting started, childhood, self-awareness, CrossFit, and a whole mess of other things.Hope you all enjoy this break from the norm and our wide-ranging conversation!Find Preslie Online:Website: https://www.heypresliecreative.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heypreslie/About Preslie:Born and raised in Arizona, I’ve grown-up with a strong affection for the simplicity of nature’s beauty and zero tolerance for anything below 70 degrees. From my dad I get my cheerful countenance, athletic aspirations and inquisitiveness, and from my mom, work ethic, communication skills and drive to constantly improve both myself and the community around me.As an active adolescent volleyball player turned competitive bodybuilder, I cultivated an interest in nutrition younger than most. After being diagnosed with an eating disorder and being plagued with chronic illness, coupled with learning more about exercise, wellness and physiology, I stumbled upon my true love of CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. These experiences gave me a opportunity to discover not only how food impacts performance and body composition, but overall quality of life. My time spent studying journalism and freelance writing lend itself to helping me easily convey concepts to those with no nutrition background. My values are rooted in practicing gratitude and integrity, to always be kind and continuously learning, and live both passionately and balanced. I absolutely love helping people realize their health potential and reap its’ benefits. I believe my history and education lend me the opportunity to do just that, and I am very thankful for this platform.........Follow the Just Get Started Podcast on Instagram at @justgetstartedpodcast or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justgetstartedpodcast and to learn more about me and what’s going on in my world check out https://www.brianondrako.com/now/ or find me on Instagram at @brianondrako or twitter @brianondrako As always, I’d appreciate a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts (Leave a Review) if you believe I’ve earned it.
