Ubayy ibn Ka’b reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him, “How do you recite in prayer?” Ubayy said, “I recite the foundation of the Book, Surat al-Fatihah.” The Prophet said, “By the One in whose hand is my soul, nothing like it has been revealed in the Torah, nor the Gospel, nor the Psalms, nor the Furqan.
