I've finally managed to get back to the States after being stuck in the airport. I had a great time in San Andres, spending some time with my family and seeing the cultural differences of South Americans, one huge factor in their culture being soccer which can get quite intense. I had quite an exciting time in Panama and now I am on the island where my wife and I met four years ago. She is coming here together with her family and we will all spend some time together. While in Panama I went spear fishing with my buddy Joe and a questionable local character, but it actually turned out great. I also visited the Trump Tower and won $70 at a Blackjack table. Bad luck hit me as the $10 local poker tournament got canceled because of the heaviest rain I've ever seen. Otherwise, it's been a really interesting week, having quite an adventure with a taxi driver and learning about the mating ritual of certain bird species.
