Prov 4:23; "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it springs the issues of life." We must be attentive everyday to the state of our hearts. Our hearts can only be properly gauged and restored in His Presence. This message emphasizes the imperative nature of understanding the Reverent side of God's character, and how that revelation causes the heart to have a deeper sense of repentance. 1/28/20

As we pursue God we discover there are things in our heart that shouldn't be there. The Holy Spirit pin-points areas in our lives that need to be surrendered. Matt 5:8; "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." As we yield to the purification process in our hearts via the Holy Spirit, the clearer and nearer God becomes to us personally.
