Over the past year, Jeremy & Gerry have been on a journey to improve their physical connection to body and form. Dr. G began Pilates in April of 2021 and recommended that Jeremy try it. It has been an enormous success in both their lives, improving mobility, healing long-term pain, and providing a general sense of ease in their physical selves. Today, they sit down with Pilates instructor Emily Grout to discuss the history, mechanics, and opportunity that exists in Pilates. Emily is a Pilates instructor with over 10 years of experience who creates and shares classically-inspired Pilates programs. She received her 450-hour certification from Pilates Core Integration and BS in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University. She currently gives classes and private instruction virtually and in the greater-Seattle area.

She completed her law degree and came to Chicago to practice.
