Just Do It - TRDC Show Ep #15
Episode 15 of The Race Driver Coach Show is a little bit different because it is done whilst on the road (from a hotel room in Toronto). In this 10 minute video I talk about the importance of just doing it. When I say 'just do it' I am referring to when you know that you need to act in a certain way but you put it off because you are not quite in the right mood or motivated. So amny of us come up with so many excuses why we cannot do what we should be doing right now, me included, but I want to remind you that this is the silent killer to dreams. Your career and your life depends on you. It all swings on whether you can pull this off or not. Nobody else is going to make your racing dreams come true so your performance off track is really really really important. If you only do things for your career when you feel like it then you are just about to fail and spend your life kind of chasing something that will never happen. One of the main skills to master is your skill to take action when you need to, not when you feel like it. This video is dedicated to that.

The 5 Step Mental Preparation For Race Drivers - TRDC Show Ep #13
This video was created due to this question - "How do I mentally prepare for a race weekend?"It is a perfectly good question that most drivers should ask more often and put more effort into.In this episode of The Race Driver Coach Show I will talk you through the 5 Stage Mental Preparation framework that I usually follow when working with someone who is preparing for an upcoming event. To give you a heads up the 5 stages / steps are as follows:1) Get Clear2) Get Motivated3) Get a Plan4) Get Good5) ExecuteAlthough these steps are the same for most people, the content, information and mental training techniques/strategies are very individual to the driver but with the details I give here you can easily start to put together you own mental preparation ritual that will fit in nicely for your pre-race prep. This is something that will forever be adjusted to suit what you are about to face and how you performed at the last race event but it is a mental training cycle that will allow you to perform at your best and extract more from yourself.Let us know your thoughts and keep sending me your questions. You can also join us on the following:Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/theracedrive...Instagram@enzomuccisuccessTwitterhttps://twitter.com/enzomucci

To win at Motorsport you need to win at Sales - TRDC Show Ep 12
Not only do you have to sell to teams or potential sponsors but you have to have the people skills that will allow you to win people over in your sport. That is kind of selling also.If you are fast but unpopular then you will find it hard to achieve a career in this sport.I have seen many 'No.2' drivers with long careers in this sport because they know how to win people over and are very good on the commercial side. I really want to hit home the importance of your performance out of the car, yes you may win on track but if you want to stick around then you need to win off track. You need to get people wanting to help you, to be a part of your journey and to put your name forwards for future drives.

The Race Driver Coach Show - How To Control Anger and Frustration - Enzo Mucci
All too often I am seeing people waste their potential and under perform just because they let their emotions get the best of them. Today I want to target anger and frustration. This episode was inspired by a question from Rob, he asked:"I keep letting anger and frustration mess my driving and weekends up. I've had mental training in the past which helped a little but I still let it beat me and cause mistakes in the car. Can you give me some tips on the show?"Of course Rob, I love teaching and speaking about this. It's what I see as being one of the most vital and enjoyable areas to train yourself in.If you also fall for the emotional / mental traps that we lay for ourselves then you will take something from this episode.I will walk you through the procedure that has helped so many and describe exactly what is going on here (from my point of view). You can apply the techniques from this video and have them as part of your mental skills. You are building your own tool box of mental strategies but these may just compliment what you have already. They will at least give you food for thought and inspire your own ways of getting the best out of yourself. We will cover what is really going on when you are getting angry and frustrated and show you the best way to train yourself in this area.Enjoy the episode and let me know your thoughts. All the bestEnzo

Episode 7 - Turn Products Into Cash (Motorsport Sponsorship) - The Race Driver Coach Show
Today we talk about turning product deals into Motorsport Sponsorship Hard Cash. This episode was created to answer a question sent in from Charles via our Get The Drive Facebook Page, his question is:"I'm currently racing, things are going well but I need to improve my sponsorship strategy. Shall I use product placement deals as part of that strategy?"My initial answer is HELL YEAH!I mean, what do you notice about all products?Answer - They are all owned by people who simply want to earn money from these products.Whether they have a passion for what they produce or not, they still keep score by the revenue that is earned. Money is the lifeblood to every company, it's how they survive and thrive. As a racer if you approach a company and pitch them on the fact that you will help them sell their products / services and promote their brand to a captive audience that you have access to, and all you want in return is some of their products and services...then they will often say "Yes".It is a much easier deal to pitch. But most drivers think that product deals are not worth much because they do not provide them with the hard cash to pay for their race seat.If you think this then think again. If you want to win at this game of motorsport then you need to think more long term. That means that you need to build business relationships with corporations in order to access their hard cash later on down the road. The important word here is 'build'. You need to build trust a business relationship that grows over time. The sponsorship game isn't won over night. Instead it takes many years to really get the ball rolling and product deals are a great way of contributing to that.In this episode I will show you how to do just that.

TRDC Show Episode 6 - How To Stand Out Like Conor McGregor
Today I am going to talk about a part of you that must come out if you want to truly win at this game. First off I have a question for you, what do you notice about these following ordinary people? Muhammad AliSerena WilliamsShaun WhiteJohn McEnroeUsain BoltMichael JordanDennis RodmanConor McGregorFlo-JoMike TysonDiego MaradonnaRafael NadalPrince Naseem Hammed Well by the title of this episode you can pretty much guess that all these people really do stand out. Not just because of their playing skills but because of their personality, their personal brand. They demand attention. They grab the spotlight Make sure that you know them. This is importantNo matter what industry you are in, if it is a competitive environment then it is your job to stand out more than your competitors. You have to be on the mind of people watching your sport, you must be the person they think of when they think of your sport or industry. That's the goal anyway. These sportsmen and women managed to do that and as a result they were seen as leaders, and their playing ability backed it up. Do not be invisible. Do not be the best kept secret. Instead rub your presence in the face of your competitors and be the one that we all want to back. 5 Video ClipsIn this episode I have used 5 video clips that all demonstrate 5 important lessons, they are: 1) Show us the Real YouBreak the mold of the uniformed conformed driver and show us some of your true colours. 2) Believe in Yourselfback yourself fully internally and externally. This forces you to back it up with performance. It makes you train harder, to master your craft more and to commit to the sport better than all of those around you. 3) Wear your ambitionlet your inner monster be seen by others, don't just be polite and have motivation, let it out. you can see the difference in body language and intention and mental strength between these two in this segment. 4) Stand outCreate attention. Eyeballs equals attention, attention equals value in your sport. What are you doing that separates you from others? As far as I can see most drivers are pretty much in a set mold, hardly any of you are standing out, hardly any of you are making yourself a brand that is sellable, that intrigues others. 5) People PowerThis is the end result, when people start to copy you and outsiders start to stick up for you, then you know that you are getting somewhere. For a long time nobody will care about your quest, but if you keep sticking to these previous 4 and stay true to yourself and build your brand, over time you will start to make an impact and you will have a brand. Essentially in my opinion if you want to succeed then you must stand out and be the real you. Care less for what people think and allow us to fall in love with your journey and your mission. Get out there. Be vulnerable. Let us taste what it's like to go for the title.

TRDC Show Episode 5 - How To Use Social Media To Get Motorsport Sponsorship
Social media for sponsorshipYou already know the power of social media, you experience it every day in some way, so it’s about time you learnt how to make it work for your career. If you have already learnt this then it’s time to use it more. We use social media to connect with friends, to find new friends, to share our photos, to find videos that make us laugh, even to keep an eye on ex boyfriends and girlfriends (you know who you are if you’re doing this). But that’s the ‘Social’ side of this, today I want to talk about the ‘Media’ side. Social media is more than just a way for us to keep our finger on the pulse of society, it is also a way to broadcast ourselves and connect with the masses for business related matters. If done correctly social media is a race drivers dream for showcasing themselves in a way that will be attractive to companies and sponsors. If you master this side of your racing you can unlock sponsorship dollars that will help you fulfil your dreams. Now is the timeBack in the day racers (like companies) would have to rely on TV, radio and print in order to communicate to the masses but now thanks to social media this can be done via the many platforms that are out there to help us spread our word. Never before has it been so easy and cost effective to grab people’s attention. With a little creativity and pro-activity you and your racing story can be in the palms of people’s hands around the world. In doing so you can create the kind of following and awareness that would be valuable to companies and brands because at the end of the day they also want to be in the pocket and hands of people around the world. They can use your online popularity as a way to meet their goals. Their goals are similar to yours, they want to generate more hard cash for their cause and to help build/maintain their brand identity. In this episodeIn this episode I will show you how to use your social media in a more powerful way, a way that will allow people to engage and follow you so you stand out from all the other drivers out there who simply use social media to show off. This episode will kick this subject off and start the ball rolling for future episodes on this topic. Let me know what you think.
