All too often we allow our need to be perfect (to avoid criticism from others) cause us to perform beneath our true potential or even cripple our progress in life.A human being can achieve things that are regarded as impossible, but only if they allow themselves to. Only if they get out of their own way and be who they really are.I say screw what others think, you be you, you do you and let yourself go full out. That's the only way that you will experience freedom and live the life you deserve. This is all related to your racing and your life. Just do it.

People try and revolutionise themselves in a single day, they aim to instantly become 100% better and try to be perfect. But they fail miserably when the world still says screw you and doesn’t give them the results they want as quick as they want. You can’t get success quickly. It has to be grown. If you really focus on what you can do today that is just 1% better than yesterday, and you repeat this on a daily basis then you will be gobsmacked at what you can achieve in a year or two. Steady progression is the path to mastery, as soon as you rush nature it will grow frail and crumble when tested. Live the 1% rule, be patient and you will beat the hare. Enzo

This episode is for all the drivers out there who are losing hope. If you are stuck and struggling to make your way in racing then I want to speak directly to you through this video.This is a brutal, unfair and sometimes disgraceful sport for those who are competing within it and are trying to make a career in it. I want to give you some advice and to help address those second thoughts that you may be having.Motorsport may look glamorous but it is a shark infested sport that will eat you alive if you are not prepared, but this shouldn't scare you off. We all know that most drivers just do enough, they don't usually over-deliver on training the skills they need to succeed.Well I am here to say that this kind of mentality is OK for those who are hobby drivers but if you want to take this sport serious and you want the sport to take you serious then this attitude won't cut it.In this video I want to target one of the areas that drivers are underachieving and being lazy with, it's engineering.Most athletes in other sports spend a lot of time mastering the tools that they need to use, Tennis players know their rackets, Golfers know their clubs, runners know their shoes. They know how to prep them and get the most from them.Race drivers however spend very little time mastering their car, most couldn't set up a car if their life depended on it. If you know that you have been lazy in this area then I want to warn you that your time is running out. If you want to be or remain a pro then you must fully understand how to set cars up and what each main setting does and what they feel like when adjusted.If not then teams will take advantage of you and manufacturers will not see you as valuable. Us humans are really good at beating ourselves up and filling our heads full of negative thoughts, especially when things are not going to plan.In this episode I want to show you how you can start to avoid this, how you can regain control over your thoughts (or manage them) so you can once again become that kid inside.
