In this episode of Live Sessions we chat to super talented Norwegian twins, The Ella Sisters (Maren and Charlotte), whose debut EP, Queens, is out on August 28th. These girls have an incredible musical connection and their tight vocal harmonies totally wow us in our virtual studio as they play two live tracks from the upcoming release: Cars and Miss The Most, which will be their next single.

We chat to talented Yorkshire-born artist, Franky Wah, about his musical journey so far, his approach to the creative process, and how he sank his teeth into production world way before he got interested in becoming a DJ. 

In our latest Aspiring Headliner podcast we catch up with talented Australian singer-songwriter, Lee Coulter, who made the decision to head Stateside in his early 20s to pursue his music career, and hasn't looked back since. We discuss all things music, in particular his positive 'poppy' approach to the creative process during lockdown in a bid to bring as many people together as possible. 

We chat to California-based artist Chris Hazard, who among other things is leading the charge for drunkabilly rock and roll. And it sounds great. Chris chats all things music, influences old and new, and how his unique sound is humbly created in Garageband - a platform he is a huge fan of. We catch up with Andy Barlow - revered British producer and one half of brilliant musical duo, Lamb. Andy chats about his many studio experiences such as the Songs of Innocence project he was heavily involved in with U2 at Rick Rubin's studio in Los Angeles, and the making of Lamb's 2019 record, The Secret of Letting Go. We also chat about his newly replenished home studio setup which really is something to behold: a fusion of analogue and digital kit with a serious monitoring setup, and as perfect sounding a room as you will find. 

We chat to British songwriter, producer and remixer, 220 Kid, who takes us through his journey into the music industry and chats through his creative process, which occasionally includes consuming a glass of Prosecco or three. Lockdown has been productive for this artist - so much so that he's moving his main studio to his home on a permanent basis. 

We catch up with super talented Australian soul blues and roots artist, Kara Grainger, about her love of the blues, and how music crosses language barriers. We also delve into  the production process when making her latest album, Living With Your Ghost, which was mostly tracked live with producer, Anders Osborne. 

We catch up with Essex-based singer-songwriter, Mabes - a super talented emerging artist whose gorgeous voice and folk-country songs are something to behold. And she's just dropped her latest EP, Keeping The Noise Down, which we highly recommend - in fact, we play a few of the numbers during the show as Mabes tells us the stories behind the songs.

In his own words, Glen Rowe has worn more musical hats than Jamiroquai. We agree - and they all seem to fit remarkably well. Glen looked after Muse on the road for 18 years - a monumental and rewarding task all at the same time, especially as the band grew into mega stars - but a few years after hanging up his touring hat (for now, at least), he started managing emerging artists; and at the back end of 2019, launched KYOTO recording company. KYOTO houses a stunning residential studio with an MCI console that once belonged to John Entwhistle, and a fabulous live room. We chat to Glen about nurturing young musical talent, while speculating on the future of the touring industry, and reveal why even drummers will feel like real rock stars at KYOTO..! 

We catch up with session guitarist and producer, Jan Ozveren, who talks about his work in the studio and on the road with a string of major international artists including Charlie Puth and Jennifer Hudson - and how getting the right guitar tone for every song is so crucial.
