We chat to Bastille's FOH engineer, Paul Cooper, about his road into audio, working closely with the band's frontman, Dan Smith, as their sound has evolved; and how DiGiCo's Quantum engine has been a real sonic game-changer. 

We chat to actor-turned-artist, Stu Wolfenden, about his new record, Songs From A Common Man. Perhaps best known for his role(s) in iconic British TV show, Coronation Street, after his last stint in the show (he has played three different characters), his focus turned to music - a passion of his since he was 16, and he's never been far from a pub gig when not pursuing acting these past 25 years. In collaboration with musician/songwriter Daz Lamberton, Stu has enjoyed creating that debut album, which has been put together in a great studio, tweaked during lockdown, and is now ready to go.  

We chat to super talented US artist, Shannon LaBrie, from Nebraska - the city she chose to quarantine in during this pandemic. Usually Nashville-based, Shannon has missed Music City, and playing live shows (she does over 150 each year), but as an accomplished pianist and guitarist, she has been keeping creative, making new melodies, releasing new material, and looking forward to cutting the second half of her next album. What we've heard so far is fantastic - and in keeping with Nashville tradition, it's all been tracked live to tape with a bunch of fantastic musicians. 

We chat to inspiring British record producer, Aubrey Whitfield, whose hard work, determination and belief have been pivotal in her musical journey so far. She's worked with a string of high-end creatives, and we can't help but think this is only the beginning. We chat about her unique route into the business, and discuss some cool production techniques. 

We chat to super talented Liverpudlian songstress, Rebecca Ferguson, who first shot to fame a decade ago via The X Factor, but has evolved into a phenomenal vocal talent, and is about to begin working on her fifth studio album. Her most recent collaboration took place at Abbey Road Studios alongside one of the world's finest songwriters, Nile Rodgers - which resulted in the excellent single, Nothing Left But Family, which is currently getting plenty of UK airplay. 

We chat to Olga Fitzroy, producer and executive director of the Music Producers Guild, about how the recording industry has been affected by Covid-19, and what needs to be done to ensure that it comes back stronger as we come out of lockdown.
