Light in the Darkness | Podcast
This Sunday, the Church calendar begins anew with the first Sunday in Advent. During the season, we are called by the Church to remember that Christ came into the world at his birth, and that we are to anticipate that he will come again at his return. In both instances, Jesus comes as a light shining into a world that has been darkened by sin and death. Advent is, therefore, a word of hope that Jesus has come and is always coming into the darkness to make a way forward. Listen to our latest podcast as Associate Lead Pastor Ashley Mathews shares about the beauty and darkness of Advent and how to meaningfully prepare to celebrate Christmas.Learn more at westside.atltrinity.org/advent.

Conversation on Reconciliation | Part 2
Our recent Conversation on Reconciliation was an opportunity for our pastors and other leaders in our church to share about Trinity’s vision and commitment to working for racial reconciliation. If you missed it, we hope you’ll give the audio a listen. In Part 1, you’ll hear a backstory on why we hosted the event, some of the work we’ve been doing, as well as a theology of reconciliation and why we believe it’s so important. In Part 2, you’ll hear from members of our Race, Diversity and Inclusion Council and our leadership team as they share about their own experiences of this work of reconciliation.Learn more at westside.atltrinity.org/about.Find our position paper, resources and more here.
