On Sunday, December 3 the liturgical year begins anew with the first week of Advent. Our hope this Advent is that we might find ourselves with renewed excitement for the Lord’s arrival. Advent is a season of waiting, longing, and hoping for the coming of our God. It is a time to resist the urge to rush Christmas. It is a time to reflect on God’s Kingdom that is already and still yet to come.
