Saturday Night's Main Event: The Free Pay-Per-View on Network TV
Pro wrestling was king in the 1980s, and the then WWF ruled the roost. They were able to partner with NBC to air a wrestling show on NBC in place of Saturday Night Live. Saturday Night's Main Event became a ratings smash and was instrumental in the success of the World Wrestling Federation.
