10 Commandments For Any Company Introducing Agile
I was recently asked to review and article published in November 2021 titled 10 Commandments for PMOs Introducing Agile. I thought the article was amazing just as it was written. I did add a little color commentary to bring it to life, but here are the 10 commandments:
Practice What Thou Preach
Thou Shalt Not Ask For Stuff That Thou Will Not Use
Thou Shalt Not Govern Form Behind a Desk
Thous Shalt Not Underestimate The Power of Story Points
Thou Shall Not Call Your Project Agile When It is Clearly NOT
Thou Shalt Not Exceed Capacity
Thou Shalt Not Depend on Software
Thou Shalt Not Treat Agile Like a Noun
Thou Shalt Not Waste Lessons Learned In Sprints
Thou Shalt Not Work In Isolation

4) What is the urgency to deliver business value?
5) How many stakeholders do we need to collaborate with?
6) How stiff is the formality of the contractual agreement?
7) What is the experience of the implementation team?
