Monday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett features the Go-2-Guy Jim Moore. Puck and Jim react to the first weekend of Mariners baseball. Both Puck and Jim are not all that upset with the start because it’s what they expected the offense to be. Jim is still having technical issues in trying to figure how to watch the Mariners on his TV. Jim asks Puck if he thinks Julio will turn into the super star that everyone thinks he will. Is it fair to ask? Puck introduces Puck the Picker Majors Pool with the grand prize being a trip to Gamble Sands golf course. After Jim leaves, it’s The Sports Pit podcast with Puck and KJR alums Steve Sandmeyer and Matt “Stretch” Johnson. Puck plays an edited 20 minute version of the hour-plus show that comes out every Monday. They touch on the opening series with the Mariners and A’s and Sandy was surprised about the lack of energy inside the stadium. Tuesday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett starts off the show teasing a brand new podcast that debuts on Wednesday called The Sportspit that features past KJR hosts and longtime friends, Steve Sandmeyer and Matt “Stretch” Johnson. Puck plays a five minute teaser clip of the show. The full podcast comes out on Wednesday and initially will be available to all, but eventually you’ll need to join Puck’s Posse to get full access to the podcast.
