DNC chair says grassroots organizing gives Harris a leg up in winning Georgia

State representative Shelly Hutchinson is headed to Chicago as a delegate to next week’s Democratic National convention. Shirley Franklin, Atlanta’s first Black female mayor has advice for Kamala Harris
Shirley Franklin’s parallels with Kamala Harris are significant: Franklin became the first African American woman to be elected mayor of a major southern American city.
