Kenosha Murders

Police in Kenosha, WI have confirmed 2 people have died and a third has been injured after being shot during protests. This comes after militia groups called on their members to “take up arms” to defend the city. The second night of the RNC saw violations of CDC guidelines and The Hatch Act. Over the weekend, police in Portland decided to step back as far-right groups attacked and intimidated anti-fascism protesters. The Republican National Cultvention

The RNC begins today after the party voted to adopt the same platform it ran on in 2016. Of those scheduled to speak, half are Trumps. Protests have broken out in Wisconsin after footage released by the city of Kenosha shows a Black man being shot in the back by police. Jacob Blake was getting in his car with his 3 sons when officers opened fire. 75% of Republicans think the US is in BETTER condition than it was 4 years ago, with 57% of GOP voters believing that the nearly 180,000 COVID-19 death toll is acceptable. Multiple outlets are reporting that the president is pushing the FDA to approve an unproven British vaccine for release before the election. As her daughter tweets about starting the process of emancipating herself, Kellyanne Conway announces she is leaving the White House to spend more time with her children. The Trump administration doubles down on their efforts to sabotage the Postal Service.
