Advice Every Gymnastics Coach Needs to Hear on Flexibility, Gymnasts Wanting to Quit, Icing, and Managing Goals

With the launch of SHIFT HQ I raffled off a free consult with my self and regular podcast guest, my close friend and director of the YMCA gymnastics centres in Boston Eva Shute. Katie was the consult winner and we sat down for an hour and half and talked about icing controversy and injuries, how to gain flexibility and make it stick and the science behind that. But also some harder conversations; how to help athletes with high level goals get to where they want to be, when you have other athletes that don’t have the same expectations. How do you keep all those athletes motived and give them what they need, and not have any cultural issues with friction between those gymnasts. We appreciate you listening!
