Belfast’s Cyber AI hub Dr Stuart Millar, Principal AI Engineer at Rapid7
Rapid7 recently announced a new security research partnership with CSIT at Queen’s University Belfast. The new partnership will be with CSIT’s AI hub and will research into threats facing the cloud by utilising AI and machine learning techniques. The partnership will be another avenue for CSIT students into the cybersecurity industry and Rapid7.
With NCSC recently reporting that any cybercriminal will be able to leverage AI and access cloud services, the partnership comes at a critical time. It will also continue the strong relationship seen between the cybersecurity industry and academia in Belfast. After the partnership announcement Ronan spoke to Dr Stuart Millar, Principal AI Engineer at Rapid7.
