Women's healthcare is in crisis - and things need to change.Today’s guest is the legendary broadcaster Naga Munchetty - Naga is one of the UK’s most high-profile journalists known for her work on BBC Breakfast and BBC 5 Live. But behind her incredible career, Naga has been living with a debilitating condition: since her teenage years, she’s suffered from excruciatingly painful periods… so severe they caused her to vomit, faint, and miss out on everyday life. After being diagnosed with a condition called adenomyosis at the age of 47 - Naga made it her mission to advocate for better healthcare for women and in Naga’s new book It’s Probably Nothing she draws on her own experience of being dismissed, undiagnosed and misdiagnosed to explores the devastating outcome of decades of ingrained medical misogyny. It’s Probably Nothing: Critical Conversations on the Women's Health Crisis and What We Can Do About It is out now. Rethinking farming: mental health, loneliness, and breaking boundaries… with Clarkson's Farm's Harriet

Harriet Cowan is not your stereotypical farmer.British farmers are under pressure and are often misunderstood. Harriet is making it her mission to change our perception of farmers and farming. Not only does this woman run two farms with her boyfriend - she also works five days a week as a nurse - we're pretty sure she's one of the hardest working people in the country. She came in to tell us all about the fascinating, relentless farming industry - what it means to take over a family farm, the pressures she and other farmers are under and the mental health impact of loneliness amongst farmers. We had a lot to learn from Harriet - she’s an incredibly passionate, driven woman - and she taught us so much about this vital industry. Follow @harrietcowan_x on InstagramYou can watch Harriet in action on series 4 of Clarkson’s Farm. Just Us: Running with boobs, protecting Blue Ivy and the indignity of diarrhoea

Guys, a miracle has happened - Al is happy with the weather today! On today’s episode we’re discussing Em’s food poisoning *situation*… which miraculously didn’t actually originate in the Light household. We chat about sports bras - and how much of a barrier boobs can be for women getting into exercise. And we discuss the internet’s reaction to Blue Ivy - why do people feel like they can speak about a 13-year-old child in the way they do online? And if you’re curious about the shared vibrator… we will never reveal our secrets. If you have any suggestions of people who we can talk to for our upcoming series looking at Trad Wives - you can email us on shouldideletethatpod@gmail.comFollow us on Instagram:@shouldideletethat@em_clarkson@alexlight_ldnShould I Delete That is produced by Faye LawrenceStudio Manager: Dex RoyVideo Editor: Celia GomezSocial Media Manager: Emma-Kirsty FraserMusic: Alex Andrew Hosted on Acast. ‘Woman killed’ - but by who? Dismantling the media spin on male violence

Words matter and the way we use them can either uphold or challenge harmful systems. This week we’re joined by Sydney - the co-founder of This Ends Now, a not-for-profit dedicated to preventing male violence against women and girls through reframing conversations. Sydney tells us how language plays a powerful role in shaping our understanding of sexism and male violence and how changing the words we use can help dismantle the patriarchy. We dive into their powerful ‘Red Pen’ campaign, which calls out the victim-blaming, misogynistic language too often used in headlines and police reports and corrects them to advocate for responsible reporting. Our chat with Sydney was fascinating, and really opened up our eyes to how simple changes to the language we use can make a huge difference - and felt particularly important off the back of our conversation with Laura Bates last week. Do go back and listen to that episode if you haven’t already. Follow @thisendsnow__ on Instagram Read more about all the work of This Ends Now at https://www.thisendsnow.co.uk/ Read the Words Matter Reporting Guidelines hereIf you'd like to get in touch, you can email us on shouldideletethatpod@gmail.com Follow us on Instagram:@shouldideletethat@em_clarkson@alexlight_ldnShould I Delete That is produced by Faye LawrenceStudio Manager: Dex RoyVideo Editor: Celia GomezSocial Media Manager: Emma-Kirsty FraserMusic: Alex Andrew Hosted on Acast. Just Us: Cannes nudity ban, hair loss and a drainoscopy

Greetings loved ones! Happy Al’s Got A Fringe Day to all who celebrate! It’s been a big week for us - not only has Em’s had a man look up her drain - but we’ve also been loving seeing your comments on Monday’s episode with Laura Bates. We’ve decided to continue the conversation on this Monday’s episode with a very exciting interview… which seems especially pertinent in light of the Gérard Depardieu being charged for sexually assaulting two women - and Cannes Film Festival announcing their new red carpet nudity ban. Why is the landscape for women becoming more and more difficult - and how can our use of language help us to overcome it? If you want to join in the conversation - you can email us on shouldideletethatpod@gmail.com Follow us on Instagram:@shouldideletethat@em_clarkson@alexlight_ldnShould I Delete That is produced by Faye LawrenceStudio Manager: Dex RoyVideo Editor: Celia GomezSocial Media Manager: Emma-Kirsty FraserMusic: Alex Andrew Hosted on Acast. Cyber brothels, AI girlfriends and misogynistic algorithms: Laura Bates on the new age of sexism

The Netflix show Adolescence opened up the conversation about male violence and the radicalisation of young boys online into the mainstream. But how much do we really know about what young boys are viewing online and the effect is has on them? This week, we're joined by someone whose work has shaped the conversation around gender, power, and the internet for over a decade - writer, activist, and founder of the Everyday Sexism Project, Laura Bates. We were so thrilled to welcome Laura back on the podcast to talk about her brand new book, The New Age of Sexism - an examination of how misogyny is evolving in the digital age. We spoke to her in light of the rise in incel culture, the mainstreaming of online radicalisation, and the links between toxic masculinity and real-world male violence,This conversation touches on some upsetting themes - specifically violence against women and sexual abuse. But Laura gives us practical advice on a personal and policy level to help us eradicate this new wave of gendered hate. We learned so much from this conversation and we hope you will too.Follow @laura_bates__ on InstagramThe New Age of Sexism: How the AI Revolution is Reinventing Misogyny is out on 15th May 2025. “I got trapped in an underwater cave” - the life of a cave diver

What would you do if you got stuck in a cave? Cave diving is something that has fascinated - and terrified - us for a long time - and today we had the opportunity to get all our questions answered by acclaimed explorer and cave diver - Rannvá Jørmundsson. Rannvá has a background as a professional diving instructor, specialising in cold water. Rannvá is originally from the Faroe Islands, but currently lives in Cornwall, where she works for the diving equipment company Fourth Element. Rannva has been diving since 2008 and is an IDC Staff instructor and full cave CCR diver, and she is a member of the Explorers Club in New York.Rannvá told us all about her passion for diving, how she feels it's the best form of mediation and also how she uses her extensive training to handle the risks and dangers involved in cave exploration. Stay tuned to find out if she can convince us to take a dive...Follow @rannvaj on InstagramYou can read more about Rannvá’s expedition to Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula here #PerpetualPlanetRannvá cofounded Nixie Expeditions - an organisation dedicated to Aquifer Exploration and Conservation. Just Us: Al’s deepfake, Russell Brand and reading your comments

Al (aka Revolting Santa Claus) has come into the studio today armed with many, many, many awkwards for us. We also pull back the curtain a bit and read some of your comments on our latest episodes… turns out, we’re VERY responsive to feedback. It really does help us out if you rate and follow the show on your podcast platforms - so we’d LOVE it if you could leave us a good review if you love the show! Five stars pretty pleeeeeeasseeee! And we also chat about Al’s recent experience of being turned into a deepfake - and what it tells us about the fragility of women’s reputations in comparison to men - particularly in light of Russell Brand’s recent rape and sexual assault charges. Have you managed to have an even more awkward week than Al? We want to know about it.
