Harry and Meghan's daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor is just one week old, but already there are hopes that Queen Elizabeth's great-granddaughter could help to mend the relationship between Prince William and his brother. But how will little Lili fit into the Royal family, and will she receive a title? The Quicky speaks to Mamamia's Royal Correspondent to find out how titles are bestowed upon each member of the family, and how they will all change once Her Majesty is no longer on the throne. COVID-19 Variants: Everything You Need To Know

You may have noticed that news outlets have started referring to the more common strains of COVID-19 by letters of the Greek alphabet, such as Alpha, Beta, Delta and Gamma. The World Health Organisation believes this will help to eliminate prejudice and discrimination against the places where each variant originated, but many argue it also makes it harder to stay on top of the latest developments. The Quicky speaks to an expert Virologist to find out which strain is which, and whether the emergence of new variants of COVID-19 could see this pandemic last forever. The Search For Canada's Lost Children

Last month the bodies of at least 215 children were found at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School in Canada, where First Nations children were taken after being forcibly removed from their families in an effort to eradicate their culture entirely. Despite the obvious cruelty and abuse committed against an estimated 150,000 children and their families in these church-run, government-funded institutions, the Pope has refused to apologise for the harm caused. The Quicky investigates why these mass graves have only just been discovered, and how many more First Nations children remain missing. Toxic Femininity: Are Women Trained To Hate Each Other?

Chrissy Teigen has had to do a lot of apologising lately, after decade-old tweets and messages emerged showing she verbally abused a number of young celebrities, including Courtney Stodden, Lindsay Lohan and Avril Lavigne. Could this really be an example of 'toxic femininity', and what does that term even mean? The Quicky speaks to two feminists about whether toxic femininity really exists, or if this term is just another way for mainstream misogynists to target women. When The Heck Will I Get My Vaccine?

We're being told that Melbourne's latest COVID-19 outbreak wouldn't have been so bad if more people had been vaccinated, but even if you are technically eligible, trying to actually get a jab can be very difficult. Making matters worse is the fact that every state and territory has its own systems and processes, and there is very little information publicly available about how many vaccines we have and where. The Quicky speaks to a journalist who has been trying to track Australia's vaccination program and an epidemiologist to find out why our rollout continues to be so slow. Naomi Osaka: When Mental Health Disrupts Your Work

Japanese tennis champion Naomi Osaka sparked controversy over her decision not speak to media at the French Open, before withdrawing from the competition altogether. Her reasoning that it is detrimental to her mental health saw many of her peers lash out and say she should just get on with her job, but what happens to those of us with more normal roles, who cannot afford to walk away from our responsibilities? The Quicky speaks to a psychologist and an industrial relations expert to find out what obligations you have to your employer if your duties impact your mental wellbeing, but more importantly, what obligations they have to look after you. Has Prince Harry Proven Our Parents Screw Us Up?

As Prince Harry continues to speak out publicly about his personal life, the often strained relationship with his father Prince Charles keeps coming up as a key reason why he acted out and felt isolated as a young man.  No doubt this was one of many complicated factors having lived his entire life in the public eye, but what about for the rest of us who live more ordinary lives and have fraught relationships with our parents - can we blame them for our bad behaviour? The Quicky speaks to a psychologist to find out whether it is all mum and dad's fault, or if at some point we all have to start owning our actions and face the consequences. Where Are The Stolen Generation Now?

It is National Reconciliation Week 2021, and the theme this year is More than a word. Reconciliation takes action. A significant part of that includes acknowledging the damage done to the First Nations people who are part of the Stolen Generations - those who were forcibly removed, as children, from their families and communities and placed into institutional care or with non-Indigenous foster families. Inspired by this year's Reconciliation theme, The Quicky speaks to an expert in healing to consider what we can all do to not only acknowledge the brutality of our past, but also recognise and address what is still happening today.  Subscribe to The Quicky at... https://mamamia.com.au/the-quicky/ CREDITS  Host/Producer: Claire Murphy Executive Producer: Siobhán Moran-McFarlane Audio Producer: Ian Camilleri Guest: Fiona Cornforth - CEO of the Healing Foundation, and a Wuthathi descendant of the far northeast cape of Queensland with family roots also in the Torres Strait Islands CONTACT US Got a topic you'd like us to cover? Recently a number tech celebrities and artists have been making headlines for selling NFTs for hundreds of thousands, and sometimes even millions of dollars - but few of us actually understand what they are. The Dark Side Of DNA Testing

DNA testing is becoming increasingly popular, with more and more of us sending off a saliva sample to learn about our ancestry and health conditions. But despite the number of slick advertising campaigns used by many online companies, there is a dark side to this industry as you can never be certain where your DNA will end up. The Quicky speaks to two experts in bio-ethics, and one of Mamamia's own who has offered up her DNA for multiple tests to find out how accurate they are, and if we should be concerned about our most personal information being shared without our knowledge.
