Season 5 of The Crown debuts on Netflix today with those who have been faithfully following the progress of the Windsors through it’s lens, happy to watch on as some of the royal’s most spectacularly scandalous years are finally recreated on their small screen. But is the show rewriting history with its fact or fiction plotlines? And what ethical dilemma does one prince have, when he too will be profiting from the very same platform that is screening the tell-all of his family’s past? Elon Musk is now the proud owner of Twitter. Known as the social media platform for journalists, politicians and heads of business, it can also be the place where radical conspiracy theories and ideologies are shared. Cassius Turvey was just 15-years-old when he was allegedly beaten with a metal pole as he walked home from school last month.  As he lay dying in hospital, police would say things that would be interpreted as being offhand, refusing to confirm whether racism was a factor in the crime. Newspapers would barely delve into the incident, while the family of a young boy whose life was slowly leaving his young body, were pleading for hime to be considered a human who deserved humanity’s sympathy.  Today, after a week of action around the death of Cassius Turvey, we look at how Australia still struggles to tell the stories of First Nation's People.
