When OG Red Wiggle Murray Cook retired from performing along with his cast mates Greg and Jeff, many thought it would be the end of the children's entertainers. But through reinvention, the introduction of the first girl Wiggle and now a diverse cast of men, women and different cultural backgrounds, the Wiggles have been able to evolve and keep the brand moving forward more than 30 years after their invention. We often hear about toxic masculinity. And when discussing it, there's one man seemingly leading the virtual pack - Andrew Tate. Over the past few days, Israeli troops have moved into the heart of Gaza, surrounding Gaza City and giving those who remain amongst the rubble after almost a month of airstrikes, just a four hour window to leave before they move in.  Israel says they are there to annihilate Hamas, the militant terror group who launched the deadly attack on October 7.  In this episode of The Quicky, we take a look at what will happen once this is all over? Please take care when listening.  Last week 21 year old Lilie James was killed in a Sydney private school, her body found in the bathroom of the school's gym. Her killer is suspected to be 24 year old Paul Thijssen, a man she had dated.  This week the former headmaster of St Andrew's Cathedral School, where Lilie was a teacher and was killed, wrote a letter home to parents and students where he called Thijssen a "delight", "a fine student" and even a "role-model".  Too often we see and hear things like this said by men about men in their lives who have gone on to do unspeakable things to either their wives and partners, or their own children.  In this episode of The Quicky, we take a look at the 'Good Bloke Syndrome' and why it's time some men held a mirror up to their own behaviours to understand what is happening to the women of Australia.  To read more on this topic, click here.
