Kristi’s family sailed on a 7 night Mediterranean cruise, with stops in Italy, France, and Spain. Derry’s family sailed on an 11 night cruise, featuring stops in Greece, Italy, France, and Spain. They both are a wealth of information on getting to Europe, planning days prior to and after the cruise, along with all of their thoughts on what they decided to do in each port. As a bonus, we also touch on Disneyland Paris (where each of them had gone recently), and Krisiti’s time in London after her cruise. Steve and his family have just returned from a 7 day cruise around the Greek Isles aboard the Disney Dream. Before the cruise, they also spent time in Paris, Disneyland Paris, and Rome, so they touch on some of the things they experienced there first. Then it’s off to the Greek Isles aboard the Dream, featuring stops in Naples, Mykonos, Santorini, and Chania (Crete). This was a round trip sailing out of Vancouver, featuring stops in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, with a glacier day up Tracy Arm. During their sailing, they sat down several times to discuss their experiences as they sailed through some of the most scenic areas of North America. This was a round trip sailing out of Seattle featuring stops in Sitka, Juneau (with a sailing up Endicott Arm toward Dawes Glacier), Icy Straight Point, Ketchikan, and Victoria British Columbia. Tim and Amber join us this week to discuss their family’s experiences sailing to Bermuda for the first time, aboard the Disney Fantasy. Most DCL Bermuda cruises leave from New York, but this was a rare (and hopefully it will become standard) sailing to Bermuda out of Port Canaveral. This cruise featured an overnight stop in Bermuda, allowing them to explore this island for 2 full days. We discuss their thoughts on what Bermuda had to offer, what they experienced, and if they would book a return sailing to this amazing port of call (spoiler alert…pretty sure the answer is a definite yes:)).
