Yannick was one of the finalists of the 6th EDPL Young Scholar Award 2022, as well as a PhD student hoping to obtain a Joint International Doctoral Degree in Law, Science and Technology. His paper, titled “Stretching the Limit, The Functioning of the GDPR’s Notion of Consent in the context of Data Intermediary Services” looks ahead at one of the new European laws that are entering into force shortly as part of the EU Digital Single Market: the Data Governance Act. This law should make it easier to share personal data, especially between the public and the private sector.
