In a two-to-one split decision, a Georgia State Appeals court ruled that District Attorney Fani Willis should be removed from the RICO case against Donald Trump and his co-conspirators, for trying to overturn the Georgia election results in violation of state election laws. However, the court also said that the prosecution can continue but must be transferred to another Georgia county prosecutors office. Once Donald Trump announced that he intended to nominate Kash Patel as the Director of the FBI, the writing was on the wall for the current FBI head Chris Wray. The problem is, FIB Directors are appointed for 10-year terms to help provide some independence and separation between the FBI and the president and his administration.
