The District of Columbia Board on Professional Responsibility has issued a report recommending that former Department of Justice lawyer Jeffrey Clark be disbarred for his role in Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.The Report states: "On the merits, we conclude that Disciplinary Counsel proved by clear and convincing evidence that Respondent (Jeffrey Clark) attempted to make intentionally false statements when he continued to advocate that the Justice Department issue a letter containing falsehoods. Thus, Respondent's (Clark's) conduct constituted an attempt to make intentionally false statements about the results of the Justice Department's investigation. . . A majority of the Board recommends that Respondent (Clark) be disbarred. With a big "FU" to the federal judiciary and the American People, Senate Republicans confirm Donald Trump's former criminal defense attorney, Emil Bove, to the 3rd Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. The Republicans didn't care that Bove was credibly accused of telling DOJ lawyers that they would need to tell federal court judges "FU" and defy their court rulings if those orders interfered with Trump's deportation efforts. In a related story, Attorney General Pam Bondi seemed to take Bove's advice. In a midnight filing in the Epstein and Maxwell grand jury transcripts matter, Bondi refused to comply with a judge's directive to state whether, before filing the motion to unseal, the Government (meaning the DOJ) notified the victims of the motion to unseal. Pam Bondi's Department of Justice continues to try to gaslight the American people in new and ridiculous ways, filing a complaint against the chief judge of federal district court in Washington, DC.Notably, the Washington Post published a deep dive piece regarding the unethical conduct of the Trump administration in federal court cases: "Trump officials accused of defying 1 in 3 judges who ruled against him."The Post documented how Trump officials have defied court orders in 38 cases, given false of misleading information to courts 9 times, withheld evidence from courts five times, and created a pretext to go around court orders 5 times.Against this backdrop of defying the courts, Pam Bondi has filed a "misconduct complaint" against Chief Judge James "Jeb" Boasberg claiming that he engaged in "judicial misconduct" when he allegedly said at a judicial conference that he had "concerns that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts, leading to a constitutional crisis". Senators Richard Durbin and Sheldon Whitehouse are demanding that the Department of Justice release the tapes of the recent interviews with Jeffrey Epstein's convicted co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell.Donald Trump's former criminal defense attorney and current Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch reportedly interviewed Maxwell for nine hours. Donald Trump sued the Wall Street Journal in federal court in Southern Florida, perhaps hoping that he would again draw Aileen Cannon as a judge. But he didn't. Rather, the same judge that presided over the lawsuit Trump brought against Michael Cohen - Judge Darrin Gayles - was assigned the Wall Street Journal case.Judge Gayles has seen the Trump show before . . . in court . . . up close and personal.
