Dwell #21: Partners in the Gospel - Kenny & William
Kenny King and William Marshall co-pastor Grace Bible Fellowship in Sikeston, Missouri. "Co... WHAT???" you say. You heard it right. They are Co-Pastors. Instead of a Senior Pastor and an Associate Pastor, this church has two equal Co-Pastors. It's a relationship of equality in leadership, preaching, decision making... all of it. This month's memory verse, Romans 12:10, is foundational to the co-pastor model. It tells us that we should honor and love others above ourselves. Kenny and William live this verse out daily in their roles as Co-Pastors. They talk about what it means to lean on each other and defer to one another all things. They share the Biblical basis for this kind of church model. And, they share the ins and outs of how co-pastoring works, sacrifices they have made, and the value of working together as fellow brothers in their church. I was truly inspired by how the gospel is being lived out practically in their friendship. And, I'm thankful for their example of deference and love in leadership. I hope you will be too.Support the showFollow Natalie & Vera at DwellDifferently.com and @dwelldifferently.

Dwell #20: Unity, Not Uniformity - Kenny & William
In this episode of the Dwell Podcast we get to talk church. And, oh is it good. Our verse from Romans 12:10 is written to the church to encourage us to be devoted to one another and to love one another as a group of believers. So, I couldn't be more excited to have two co-pastors on the show to discuss what that kind of love looks like in their church. William Marshall and Kenny King are the Co-pastors of Grace Bible Fellowship in Sikeston, Missouri. Their church is very unique. What was once two different churches, one primarily black and one primarily white, is now one unified church. Kenny and William share about the mission, the joys, the unity, and the difficulties of their new church. We talk about how the Gospel is the foundation for every believer, and the foundation of their church. They share about how Christ's love and sacrifice is what should motivate us to love and sacrifice for one another, despite differences. And, they share about how God's kingdom is on display in their worship services through the diversity of their fellowship. After our talk I just want to go to their church, meet their people, and worship with them. If you'd like to find out more about their church or visit them on a Sunday, follow them on Facebook at @GBFSikeson.Support the showFollow Natalie & Vera at DwellDifferently.com and @dwelldifferently.

Dwell #19: Founded on Friendship - Kenny & William
Meet Kenny King and William Marshall, Co-pastors of Grace Bible Fellowship in Sikeston, Missouri. When I heard their story, I was floored, and couldn't wait talk with them. They were both Senior Pastors in the same town at two different churches, one primarily black and the other primarily white. When they met and discovered their shared beliefs about the gospel and their passion for racial reconciliation, they became fast friends. Through that friendship, they eventually merged their two separate churches into one united, diverse church. In this episode, we get to hear the story of how they met, why they decided to merge their churches, and the unique opportunity God has given them to display the power of the gospel through their church. Their church is a great example of this month's verse, "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." (Romans 12:10).Find out more about them on their FB page: @GBFSikestonSupport the showFollow Natalie & Vera at DwellDifferently.com and @dwelldifferently.
