Peter Crouch, Tom Daley, and the Creepy Intern #344
It’s Toby Tarrant in for Chris this week on The Chris Moyles Show On Radio X Podcast! Peter Crouch visited the studio, and had a chat with Toby and Dom about his time as Dulwich Hamlet Director of Football, and his recent Kasabian gig cameo. Everything went wrong, from a backtiming issue, to a sponsor blunder, and a birthday mishap by Danny the Intern. In the aftermath of Glastonbury, we hear back from one of our favourite flag bearers, Rosie, as well as listening in to some of your voicemails and texts to the phone number on one of the festival flags. Toby mum makes an appearance, before we were MEANT to have Sara Pascoe on. However, we decide to play a game intended for her with Danny, which includes hot sauce as punishment. It doesn’t quite end the way Toby intended though. We were finally joined by Olympic Gold Medallist Tom Daley, ahead of his new knitwear collection.
But that’s not all….
The Siege of Weinsberg
Whistling Scrotum Syndrome

LBC’s Steve Allen, Listener Rosie at Glastonbury, and James’ Flag Prank #343
Choo Choo Podcast Listener! It’s the latest edition of the Chris Moyles Show On Radio X Podcast. Glastonbury dominated the talk of the week, as we 'gave away our final flag' to listener Megan, though not was all it seemed. With the train strikes, Producer Matt was working from home for most of the week, which produced a memorable rant about Nursery fees. We were reintroduced to our ’Sample Text Here’ flag holder, Rosie, who gave us an update before she set off for Glastonbury. We may have also helped her with getting some new Twitter followers too. LBC’s Steve Allen popped by and had a chat that ranged from bathroom reading to imaginary hamsters. We also had an update regarding an unexpected return of a celebrity guest!
But that’s not all….
? Chris LOSES at Happy Endings
? Garden Igloo drama
? Alexa comments are introduced

Astronaut Tim Peake, The Lightning Seeds’ Ian Broudie, and DIY Dom #342
The latest edition of the Chris Moyles Show Podcast on Radio X has arrived! This week, courtesy of Speedy Tool Hire (neeowww), we had Dom completing DIY tasks before the time ran out, which lead to some impressive successes and some catastrophic fails. We all got a bit giddy as Astronaut Tim Peake joined us in the studio ahead of his cameo performance in the new Disney Pixar film ‘Lightyear’. We were also joined by The Lightning Seed’s creator Ian Broudie, who is going on tour later this year. During his and Chris’ chat, Ian revealed a story about the naming of the band ‘Frankie Goes To Hollywood’. Chris also revealed his annoyance at ‘Gym Wombles’, whilst also informing Executive Producer Pippa on urinal etiquette.
But that’s not all….
- ‘Axel Rose’ stopped by
- ‘Cookie Monster’ popped in
- We gave away some of our final Glastonbury 2022 flags

Dom's 'PowerPlay' presentation prank and Kasabian #341
Are you ready for this week’s Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast? It’s a belter… The team start off chatting about Liam Gallaghers BIBLICAL set at Knebworth, before we start giving away the first of our flags to some Glastonbury attendees. Producer James does a Northern Irish Accent, or at least tries to, before Rob DJ’s voice goes through some changes. However, a true highlight of the week was the much anticipated ‘PowerPlay’ presentation by our very own Dominic Byrne. Not everything went as smoothly as he had hoped. We ended the week with a chat with Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian, who joined the team to chat about how he finds being the bands new frontman, as well as supporting Liam Gallagher at Knebworth and the new album
But that’s not all….
- Callers’ Rude Acronym Proposals
- Mixed Meat Curry Controversy
- Intern Danny’s WooWho Game

Top Gear Lads, Jubilee Wine & Dom’s Technical Genius #340
A right royal welcome to a, slightly shorter, Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast, thanks to the Jubilee Weekend. We may have only had 3 days on air, but we still had a lot of fun! As part of the weekend round-up, Chris and the team heard Nadine Dorris and Andrew Neils attempts at rapping. Big CRINGE alert! We learnt about James’ reason for missing the huge gig that is Liam Gallagher at Knebworth this week. Speaking of, we gave out the last tickets available to listeners of the show this week, although one winner didn’t quite realise it was Chris calling him back when he answered. Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris also joined for a chat ahead of the new Top Gear series, before some drama with Jubilee limited edition wine. Dom also had a bit of trouble naming the software used to make presentations with slides of pictures on. Any guesses?
But that’s not all….
- "Alan Partridge" Makes His Way Into Our Knebworth Competition
- Doms Nudist Holiday Considerations
- We Make Our Final Decisions On Our Flags For Glastonbury Festival

Ant & Dec, Ian Wright and James' Stolen Shoes #339
Here it is! Your latest fix of The Chris Moyles Show On Radio X Podcast. We had loads of guests on the show this week. We started off talking to Ardal O’Hanlon, aka Father Dougal in Father Ted, and spoke about his new book; Brouhaha. We (it was mainly Pippa) spent five minutes dissecting a joke about Max Verstappen’s dad, before Dom sat down with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen to talk about the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi TV Series. "Who Are You" returned, and featured a guest who spent thousands of pounds on a viral prank. James also “lost” his shoes, after Chris stole them and hid them around the building, before finishing the week with a joyful chat with Ant & Dec, and a lovely catch-up with Ian Wright.
But the laughter doesn’t end there….
- Dom’s Imaginary Friend
- A knock-off Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts
- A VERY unfortunate mispronunciation during the news
Enjoy!

Jon Hamm, Karl Urban and the #SPRITECHALLENGE #338
We’ve had a busy week this week, not just with guests, but also with the new software that plays out all our jingles and songs! Expect plenty of hiccups and slips. Speaking of hiccups, we did the #SPRITECHALLENGE in the studio, where Producer Matt drank one and a half cans of Sprite, and then tried not to burp. The results were WONDERFUL! Fresh from his second placed finish (first in our hearts) at Eurovision, Sam Ryder came for a chat. We also spoke to Iain Stirling ahead of his new Prime Video stand up show, as well as Jon Hamm ahead of Top Gun: Maverick, where Chris gave Jon a proper UK welcome in the form of Freddos. Karl Urban then visited the studio, promoting the third season of The Boys, before Nick Knowles came and spoke his new decluttering show on Channel 5.
But it’s not all guests and burping…
- “Florence” pays a visit for the first time
- Dom’s Gym Membership
- More WhatsApp messages
Enjoy!

Tom Kerridge, Rag N Bone Man and Matt’s Birthday Surprises #337
You’ve found The Chris Moyles Show On Radio X Podcast, and what a podcast it is! We kicked off the week with some ‘shocking’ birthday surprises for Producer Matt, although we're not sure how much enjoyed them. Tom Kerridge came onto the show, and we gave him the Chris Moyles Breakfast Special Omelette to try, in the hopes of getting a stall at the upcoming Pub in the Park festivals. Chris then surprised the team with a 5kg block of popcorn. Where it came from? No one knows. Si King of the Hairy Bikers then came in to talk about their new diet cook book, which includes some unbelievable recipes that we’ll definitely be trying. Finally, Rag N Bone Man joined the team and spoke about his upcoming Heritage show at Kenwood House, as well as what’s included on his rider (which includes a very random vegetable).
But that’s not all…
- Dom’s Bald Head Lawsuits
- A Bobby Spirals Scandal
- The Return of Glastonbury Flags

Chris Tarrant, Boy George, Jake Bugg, and Dick & Dom #336
Four day week? Don’t let that fool you into thinking this week’s Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast is gonna be a short one! It was guests galore this bank holiday week, and we kicked it off with Jake Bugg having a chat ahead of his supporting set for Noel Gallagher at Kenwood House. Chris’ mystical betting powers came to the rescue this week, much to the delight of Dom, before Sam expressed his delight after Manchester City’s loss in the football midweek. Toby Tarrant’s Dad, and Pippa’s future Father-In-Law, came and visited Chris and the team in the studio, and spoke all about his new book “It’s Not A Proper Job”, whilst also quashing suggestions of him and Toby doing a radio show together. Boy George also stopped by to chat about the Heritage Live shows that Culture Club are doing, which allowed Dom to show off his vocal ‘talents’, giving his best rendition of Karma Chameleon. Finally, Dick and Dom spoke about Da Bungalow Live, and played Celebrity Two Word Tango with Chris and the team!
But that’s not all….
- Choo Choo at the Snooker
- Chris hosting Countdown
- Can Chris blow his nose?
