The Launch of Radio X’s Big Smashing Driving Stunt #403
NE1 4A Podcast? Come on move your poddy, it’s The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast, and you are in for one hell of a ride. This week, we announced Radio X’s Big Smashing Driving Stunt, which will see Dominic Byrne drive through six massive garage doors to win one of you lovely listeners a new car. To prep Dom for his Big Smashing Driving Stunt, we enlisted the help of stunt co-ordinator Jim Dowdall, who has worked on NINE Bond films to advise him on his spacial awareness. Preparations also included a child’s go kart, a rather questionable selection of personalised number plates, and the reveal of the car Dom will be using to smash through the garage doors. We did have some other fun not including smashing doors this week too, including: Pippa’s Quiz about PippaThe Lip Reading GameA big spill wreaks havoc in the studioEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Alex James, Jill Scott, Andi Peters, and Dom is a postal person #402
Were you invited to watch Red Hot Chilli Peppers last week? No? Join the club... Here we are, another episode of the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast, and as always, what a cracker it is. Everyone’s favourite cheese lover Alex James popped into the studio this week to chat about the brand new Blur album, and everyone’s favourite Andi Peters, Andi Peters, called in and got rather excited by Chris’s scented candles. Jill Scott brought the football fever to the show live from Down Under, as she called from her taxi on her way to watch England beat Denmark. Dominic Byrne’s 50 at 50 challenges this week saw him take on two new career paths: Magician and Postman. One experience included a straitjacket and the other included an a questionable tour of Soho. Just an average week for Dom, really. This very jam packed, very normal podcast also contains:Dom receiving a meat rubbing package Chris being baffled by sparkly tote bagsPippa goes on a management course (again)Enjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Brian May, Rick Witter and Dominic Byrne rides a hoverboard #401
Do you know how long the NC500 is? Some of us did not. Yes, that’s right, the team are back and while Chris may not have met Matt Damon last week, we do have another cracking episode of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast for you lovely lot. This week, Chris couldn’t keep his cool as the “brilliant”, “phenomenal”, “genius” that is Brian May (Chris’s words) zoomed in. The jury is still out on whether Brian will accept Chris’s lunch invite though… Shed Seven’s Rick Witter also had a chat with the team, and shared an exclusive clip of his unreleased song with Pete Doherty. Whilst Dominic Byrne is celebrating 50 years on planet Earth, Argos are also celebrating 50 years of existence. Naturally the result of this matchup was Argos gave Dom a Nerf Gun and a Hoverboard (amongst other things) to win some listeners a few prizes. This ten out of ten podcast also includes:Pippa missing Brian May’s soft handsChris getting Calvin Harris’ DJ DecksA postcard from Cap d’AgdeEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Matt Damon, Zoe Saldaña, Miles Kane, Paul Chowdhry and Toby sits in #400
Ooo look at those buns! It’s episode 400 of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast, and rolling out the red carpet this week was the one and only Toby Tarrant. Stepping into the studio this week was Hollywood superstar Matt Damon who shared his favourite band of the moment, as well as talking about the new film, Oppenheimer. As if one Hollywood A-Lister wasn't enough, Zoe Saldaña also joined Toby and the team, to discuss her new role in ‘Special Ops: Lioness’ alongside some guy Morgan Freeman. No big deal right? From Hollywood glamour, to things iconically British, Miles Kane chatted to Toby about sticky floors in Kingston Pryzm and filming with James Buckley; and comedian Paul Chowdhry gave his finest Chris Tarrant impression. Aside from those fantastic guests, we phoned up Dom’s German Exchange Pal Boris to help find Toby’s wallet from Hamburg Reeperbahn. We also had these best bits too:Toby has the greatest day of his lifePippa learns to bowlProducer Vin is blown away by BlurEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Ross Kemp, Josh Warrington, and Chris joins Threads #399
Howdy y’all, want some coffee? It’s the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. G’day to ya. There was a lot to celebrate this week, as we hosted an Independence Day Special - no not a celebration of the Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith movie - that 4th of July one. Festivities naturally included lots of horrific accents and a Morgan Freeman impersonator. We also celebrated International Kissing Day, as Dominic Byrne’s 50 at 50 saw him pop into Leicester Square and get kissed by some strangers. So hygienic. Joining us for a chat this week was everyone’s favourite Soap Star and Gang Interviewer, Ross Kemp, who confessed to being an ‘arrogant little twit’ back in the day. Boxer Josh “The Leeds Warrior” Warrington stopped by and organised a training session with Chris. Now, despite our intern being very sleepy this week, the rest of the team had enough energy to also bring you on this week's podcast: Chris joining Threads (@chrismoylesofficial if you didn’t know)Pippa realising Byker Grove isn’t about bikesJames finding a smell hole in the backEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Nick Mohammed, Rob Rinder and Dom cracks a whip #398
Did you know that if you mix bleach and Harpic in the toilet you create toxic fumes? You do now, so DO. NOT. DO. IT. Safety warning out the way, this is the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. The studio was a bit empty at the start of the week, as Chris decided to stay behind at Glastonbury, and reflect on a weekend of flags and weeing in cups from the comfort of James’ campervan. Cosy. Chris did make his return from Glasto, ready to be joined by Nick Mohammed, who teased his rollerskating comedy show and the future of Ted Lasso. We also had Rob Rinder along, who spilled the beans on his rumoured romance with Rylan. Indiana Jones fever rippled through the show this week too, as Dominic Byrne completed a whip-cracking 50 at 50 to win a listener a trip to Morocco, and also interviewed the legends Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Dom told them his favourite part of the latest movie was the bit in space. Spoiler alert, space does not feature in the movie. That was a joke. Simon Pegg, Peter Crouch, Leigh Francis, Michel Roux Jr and… Ellie Goulding? #397
Allo Allo! C’est Le Chris Moyles Show sur Radio X Podcast. Oui, nous avions un fully loaded week (excuse our french), filled with a Hollywood superstar, a Michelin Star chef, an England International Footballer, and a lad from Leeds on his first tour. C’est spectaculaire! Leigh Francis (not Keith Lemon) treated us to a taste of his repertoire of characters - but did he really though? He’s young, he’s fun, and he’s got a massive tongue, Peter Crouch came by and spilled the beans on whether he would sign for Leeds next season. Thanks to a cheeky little mix up of schedules, chef Michel Roux Jr came in twice* to talk about his hunt for Britain’s Next Great Chef (*we must clarify that the first visit was actually French James). Ahead of the blockbuster premiere of Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, Simon Pegg gave us the behind the scenes scoop on Tom Cruise’s motorcycle stunts and ‘Paul 2’. Oh, and we also had a mysterious appearance from Ellie Goulding… C’est non spectaculaire. As if all those superstar guests weren’t enough, we also had:Pippa goes on a management courseChris learning to blow his noseJames gets dumped by PippaEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

James May, John Culshaw, Joe Pasquale, Iain Stirling and The Dominic Byrne Show #396
Can you see the top of it poking out there? No, not that, the microphone! Oh yes, we have another jam-packed episode of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast and we’ve had so many guests and goings on this week, that the only thing missing is a partridge in a pear tree! Joining us in the studio was the fantastic James May, who enjoyed an even more fantastic breakfast pasty (thanks chef James). Changing voices was a running theme, as John Culshaw taught Northern Irish James how to talk like an actual Northern Irish person, and Chris made Joe Pasquale sound like Frank Bruno (Joe’s words, not ours). Iain Stirling also stopped by to explain why his tour dates magically mean he has a weekend off in Dublin. Is the Guinness on you, Iain? Finally, this week’s Dominic Byrne’s 50 at 50 was to have a go at The Dominic Byrne Show, which was, as expected, not as slick as usual proceedings. In amongst all of that, we also had: Welcome to the CCB: Captain Crap BeardChris got a signed Foo Fighters record (or did he?)The final Glastonbury flag is given outEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Toby Hosts, Dan Aykroyd, Jack Whitehall and Tim Key #394
Have you ever eaten a salty banana to cure your cramp? Ah yes, it’s that time again when Toby Tarrant takes over and delivers another cracking episode of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. We have been inundated with comedic talent in the studio this week - Dominic Byrne was also here. Jack Whitehall popped in to tell us his thoughts on putting swords in various orifices in front of the King; Poet Tim Key told us he hates poetry before reading us one of his own poems and Dan Aykroyd took a break from filming the Ghostbusters Afterlife 2, to chat with us about his new launch. Good luck with your project, Dan. We also had top LAD himself James Robinson along to talk about his latest alcoholic discovery. If all that wasn’t enough, we also had: Dom crowdfunds for a castleToby dreams about Toni ColetteStumpy’s (Hungover) Pub QuizEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am
