▪️The brothers founded Mercury Sports Footwear, and after 18 months, they changed the name to Reebok.
▪️A tremendous journey of many ups and down, unshakable commitment, and hard work helped them to build a $4 billion business, overtaking Adidas & Nike to become the Worlds No. 1 sports brand in the late 80s.

Gabriela Styf Sjöman is a Global Executive from the Telecom and ICT industry. Gabriela’s leadership experience comes from executive positions with Global Network Equipment Providers, Multinational Communications Service Providers, IT Consulting, and Application Software Developers. Her background as Swedish-Mexican and from having lived in twelve countries across three continents and worked in eight of these, gives her unique multicultural experiences and perspectives to leadership.
Gabriela most recently served as Nokia Group Chief Strategy Officer in Finland, and prior to that held executive positions at among others Telia Company in Sweden, Telecom Italia in Rome, and Ericsson across numerous countries. She has in these positions been responsible for large scale transformations as well as building new business areas from concept to execution and in commercial as well as technical roles.
In 2014 Gabriela was one of the participants in Women Up Sweden, a leadership program initiated by Hillary Clinton Women’s Council. She has received various nominations as a top influencer in the Telecom industry, is a spokesperson of technology for good, and a strong promoter of long-life learning.
Gabriela holds an MBA from the University of Durham, has studied Engineering and Basic Law in Sweden, and in January 2021 began a MA in International Affairs with a specialism in Cybersecurity at King’s College London.
