The Burdah of Imam Al-Busiri is one of the most famous poems ever written in praise of the Best of Creation, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It is recited worldwide in gatherings, weddings, and all manner of celebrations with many renditions of the poem made by Nasheed artists such as Sami Yusuf, Mesut Kurtis, and Maher Zain.
The poem covers many different aspects of the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) but is ultimately about 2 things: love and redemption.
