Healing Gently With Poetry
Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. — DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye Valeria Teles interviews Norman E. Honoring And Understanding Yourselves
— Old stories are beliefs, attitudes, and subsequent actions that are prevalent in your family line. This could be scarcity towards abundance, mistrust in relationships, lack of body love and confidence, etc. We all have these stories, and at some point, they served their purpose: they kept us safe and protected to ensure survival and family connection through decades of evolution. We stayed tied and loyal to these stories because they were handed down to us in family upbringing; simply put, we didn't know we had a choice otherwise; until now. In her 10-day course and through the use of simple creative exercises and meditation, Aleksandra Slijepcevic will teach you how to extract these old stories, write new ones for yourself and your generations to follow, and finally step into your most authentic self. The Feminine Way Of Awakening
— She is here, Siempre. She will not be quieted and disappear, she keeps showing her face in the mirror and your friend's embrace. She breaks through cement, just as the ocean has taken over Venice. The truth returns, again and again, no matter how much we want to control, she has her own way. Gentle as a dove she caresses you and with a feather-light kiss dissolves your sturdy walls of defense into a flood of tears. You hear her deafening, fierce lioness roar into a world that raped her: This shall not pass! Veiled, she walks the streets and wakens people from slumber. She uplifts the fallen ones, embraces the lost and outcast. And she rises up for you, our earth and all that is sacred, igniting us to show up for the great turning. For, through her power, we can turn even the most horrific situations around and help in these times when our survival is hanging by a mere thread. You may have seen and heard her more frequently of late on the streets or felt her rumbling in your own belly and heart. The yearning for her is answered, as we allow the dams and shackles to break, to weep all our tears and laugh all of our laughter. Just like the women experienced whom I have guided to the holy cave. On their knees they surrendered to her, to embrace what's lost, to let this pure life power surge through the womb and ignite them. They were taken home into love. To embody and live it. She beckons that we recognize this truth- she is made manifest through our bodies and luminous faces, the trees, rivers…and she has incarnated as your voice, hands, and feet. As you stroke your cat, dog, another body, you are touching her. Let her take the lead in your life. She will take you and raise you into who you really are. She will give you the courage to stand up and act in benefit to all in your labor of love. She is here. Honor her and if she calls- follow her. She will show you a greater love than you may have ever known before. — Writes Dr. Nicola Valeria Teles interviews Dr. Nicola Amadora —She is is a Spiritual Teacher, Psychologist, Writer, and Speaker. Returning To Mindfulness When It Matters Most
— You already know what it means to live a fulfilling life. You may have had glimpses of this inner knowing and clarity after meditation or other activities like skiing or playing music that help us to return to ourselves. In these moments we are present, connected, creative, and open to possibilities. However, once we step back into the fast-paced world, our default habits - to rush and react - kick back in. We feel tempted to return to the comfort of what's familiar and easy, even though the outcomes are not ultimately healthy or fulfilling. We know that we're not leading a fulfilling life when we don't have enough energy, time, or whatever it takes to make meaningful choices—be it at home, work, school, or in relationships. Instead, we can train ourselves to return to ourselves – to the field of non-judging awareness within us. In returning to ourselves, we reconnect with what's present, what's important, and our potential. The possibilities that exist in this vast, open field of awareness are endless. Mindfulness empowers us to come back to ourselves, again and again, so we may see more clearly and have the courage to take intentional steps, even amidst chaos and uncertainty. Valeria Teles interviews Dr. Shalini Bahl — is a mindfulness coach, an award-winning researcher, keynote speaker, and Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Search Inside Yourself teacher. Based on 15 years of research and a cross-disciplinary approach. Attachment Trauma Informs Our Relationships
— In the field of psychology, attachment theory is one of the principal theories for understanding child development. Beginning in infancy, a child begins to form an attachment with their caregiver(s). In turn, these early interactions become internalized as "internal working models" that can affect behavior as they develop into adulthood. A key concept within this theory is that of attachment styles, which can describe the lasting feelings of trust and affection that characterize the relationship with caregivers. These attachment styles are frequently used as explanations for how people behave in relationships later on in adulthood. Children are born with a predisposition to form attachments to caregivers who are sensitive and consistently available. Sensitive caregiving creates strong, lasting bonds between infants and adults which last into adulthood. It can be difficult for children who have had inconsistent or hostile childhoods to change how they interact in relationships but with the help of a therapist, they can realize how their early experiences have affected them and take steps to correct those problems. Valeria Teles interviews Saman Nasir — a Healer, Meditation Coach, Certified Hypnotherapist, A Member Of The American Hypnosis Association, Instructor At The Hypnosis Motivation Institute, And Speaker. Today she helps other hypnotherapy students and up and coming hypnotherapists perfect their craft as an instructor in various hypnotherapy classes and workshops. In addition, she has a professional background in coaching, hypnotherapy, leadership, and mindfulness that spans twenty years along. Mindset And The Narratives That Define Your Life
— Working with a coach can be one of the biggest decisions you will ever make. It's an investment in yourself and your growth. It's important to make sure you choose the right one. Working with Vincent Infante as your personal coach, you can expect to raise the standard of your life and achieve more than you ever thought was possible. That may be a bold claim, but when you are truly dedicated to creating change, the results will be completely life-altering. You'll learn how to unlock your potential and reach goals using a combination of techniques in psychology, neurolinguistics and good, old-fashioned hard work. Valeria Teles interviews Vincent Infante — a certified Mindset & High-Performance Coach, and a licensed psychotherapist. Vincent has spent over a decade learning and working with thousands of people in varying capacities, including hospitals, clinics, in-patient units, homeless shelters, school systems, and private practice. With an extensive background in psychology, mindset, behavior, neurology, and physiology, he uses his knowledge to help individuals unlock and achieve their unique definition of success. Vin received his undergrad degree in Psychology with accolades from Psi-Chi national honor society and went on to achieve his Master's in Social Work with a clinical focus; he was a fully licensed psychotherapist at the age of 23. It was around his 9th year in the mental health field he wanted to create a more meaningful impact through genuine connection with his clients. That is when Life Coaching peaked Vin's interest as he began studying it, initially, for his own personal development. He hired his own coach and fell in love with all that coaching entails, especially the ways in which it created long-lasting change in his own life. Vin then pursued his Strategic Intervention coaching certification from Tony Robbin's RMT online training, shifting his focus to providing greater results as a Mindset and Performance Coach. At this same time, Vin had been called to become a FDNY firefighter (which was one of his lifelong dreams aside from being a therapist). He served as a firefighter during the Covid-19 pandemic year while simultaneously building his coaching practice -- and later resigned from the FDNY to serve people in the way he felt best utilized his gifts and passion. Vin is continuing to expand his coaching practice as it now remains his full-time focus. He aims to teach about mindset, strategy, goal setting, and creating life transformations. Currently embarking on his 12 th year in mental health, Vin hopes to help his clients achieve a holistic standard of living that targets peoples' mindset, sense of fulfillment, and overall quality of life.
