EEC 067-Is Trickle Down Transformation Broken?

What is 'Trickle Down Transformation' and how does it affect organizations and leaders? Dr. Katrina Burrus, MCC interviews Jonathan Raymond who explains in this episode: What steps should leaders take to avoid falling into the 'traps' of accountability that prevent employees from taking personal accountability for their role? In your new book, Good Authority, you talk about how to become the leader your team is waiting for. What do you mean by that? In Good Authority, you talk about "The right question isn't 'How do I get my people to engage?' The right question is: 'How can I get better at engaging with them?'" How should leaders get better at endgaging with their team? Jonathan loves people and ideas — but what he loves the most is helping people take their ideas and make them fly. That philosophy has led him to a 20-year career doing business development in some very different industries. As the CEO of a global coaching business (EMyth), he led a multi-year transformation of the culture and brand. Jonathan cofounded a renewable energy company and a non-profit that taught meditation and yoga to at-risk youth. Those roles and his personal journey drove Jonathan to launch refound — to share the best of what he's learned in a way people can use. Jonathan lives in Ashland, Oregon with his wife Aleks, his daughter Livia, and the laziest dog in the world. You can learn more about working with Jonathan here or by downloading this PDF.
