So you come across a lot of different people in menswear, but once you get to hear the story behind, how a brand was developed is a pretty fascinating conversation. Paul Clapham, founder of Uskees a Workman Brand started a journey in not just developing a brand but understanding what makes a brand. I must say this is probably the first time I've come across a brand owner who's genuine in saying how important it is to have a design team, marketing team, production team, and manufacturing team, but allowing in building a team with the right people. I've worked for a few small brands but have not seen a setup or understanding like Paul has, which is great cause if you don't understand, will you ever understand how a brand creative works.
