At Westchester University, Professor of creative writing, Kristine Ervin teaches her students how to process their experiences through words. For her, this catharsis is personal. Her memoir, "Rabbit Heart, A Mother’s Murder, a Daughter’s Story," is a book she had been shaping since her mother was abducted and murdered when she was eight years old.
