This came from a post I did involving a Van Gogh quote, "If you hear a voice within you say “you cannot paint,” then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced"; This quote is deeper and more important than the first appearance. If you have a voice in your head that is telling you something that is negative or detrimental to your happiness, it is not your voice but someone else that has been implanted in there. Maybe it's a parent, a relative, a "friend" or a teacher but no one is born with negativity in their heads; that's someone else's bullshit and issues, not yours.
