Episode 100-The Dark Half
The Sparrows Are Flying Again this week in the Stephen Kingcast!
In this week's review, I look at 1989's fictional metatextual story of alter-egos and twins. With The Dark Half, King summons the ghost of Richard Bachman whose alter ego, George Stark, cuts a bloody swath through the Northeast on his way to reclaim his life from author Thad Beaumont.
Fans of Needful Things will know that this also marks the first appearance of Castle Rock Sheriff Alan Pangborn. My biggest question is: why don't more people talk about this novel? Find out in this week's episode!
