Gun Law Expert: "We Are at the Worst Place Ever"
The weapon used in the devastating mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, was once banned in the United States. But he says gun lobby disinformation and a GOP that won’t stand up to the NRA means new federal gun restrictions are unlikely. This is the second of two episodes on gun safety. The first was an interview with former Assemblyman Mike Roos, who wrote California's assault weapons ban in 1989. | Unlimited Chronicle access: sfchronicle.com/pod Learn more about your ad choices.
