Friday was the day Wimbledon got back on track, with late night wins for Novak Djokovic and Marie Bouzkova ensuring that the schedule will now neatly return to having different halves of the draw on different days. Hallelujah. Day 1 of Wimbledon is in the books, and after a slow start due to rain, the day came to life as Sofia Kenin rediscovered her 2020 Australian Open form to beat Coco Gauff in a thrilling, high-quality three-setter.
