The University of Life & Janet Newenham
Meet Janet Newman, who travels the world blogging and vlogging her adventures for all to see. She's fun, bubbly and has built a hell of a career for her self.In this chat together I wanted to hear more about her world and whats actually involved in making a career out of travel. She's someone that has been doing this for years, well before it was even known as something that could be done as a career. She did it very naturally at first and then quite organically built a career in this space. Over the course of our conversation she shares a lot, she talks in to both the good sides and the bad of the work, some of the nice places she's stayed and the not so nice. She also talks about what she's learned from the work she does, how to build an audience and how to make money from it. I really hope you enjoy this and get great value from it. Let me know your feedback either via instagram or my site & if you want to connect in with her from here, you can find her via:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/janetnewenham/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/janetnewenhamSupport the showIf ever you'd like to connect, please don't hesitate to connect via my website www.jamiewhite.com. The University of Life & Amanda Biccum
Raw, honest, vulnerable and educational. This conversation with Amanda Biccum is something else. Amanda works in the relationship space, helping people build authentic bespoke relations for themselves versus how most of us do things, which is simply how we think we should. In this conversation together she beautifully breaks down the different states of relating, from casual friends with benefits, to being lovers, in a relationship and partners. She shares her way of relating and conversing on a first dates that really helps build safety, security and freedom to move forward in a way that’s right for you vs how everyone else is doing things. This is all essentially about conscious relating and there is so much within it, not just for those looking to get into a relationship but also for those in a relationship and looking to connect in a different or deeper fashion. These skills aren’t just usable in the intimate relationship space, they’re also applicable in all other areas of relating, so familial, social and professional. The University of Life & Dylan Werner
Oh what a pleasure it is to share this conversation with you that I had together with Dylan Werner. Dylan is a world renowned yoga instructor, lecturer, author, and educator in health, well-being, and mindfulness. If you're in to your yoga poses, check this mans account out. What he can do would bend your understandings of what the human body is possible of. Check out his instagram. See: https://www.instagram.com/dylanwerneryoga/We've become good friends here in Bali which is an interesting journey with Dylan. His way of conversing is really different. He likes to play a devils advocate at times and challenge you just for the fun of it, he calls you up on your bullshit and we go deep. Very deep. With that, I wanted to share a conversation together on this podcast. I had no idea what would come up or what we'd talk about. We just agreed upfront that we wouldn't cover the usual points that he finds himself talking into, his yoga journey, thoughts on the industry etc. We talk about teaching strategies, how to open a room, the power of silence and how to bring everyones energy together. We talk about things that others might not know about him, like his love of mobile video games. and then things really flow. We talk about the limits of our being and how we can open up and expand our horizons of knowledge when life is not simply self centred but centred around the support of others. We talk about energy, how it flows and forgiveness. I've found myself listening back over this conversation again and again since recording. Theres beautiful points throughout and depth that really challenges fundamental ideas. Just take my word for it and have a listen, listen through and enjoy. Let me know your feedback. Big thank you to you Dylan for making the time and sharing yourself. The University of Life & Veronica Kaulinis
Meet Veronica Kaulinis, a vulnerability expert who helps people come to terms with their fears, anxieties, issues and vulnerabilities and through a process turn these into pillars of strength, security and confidence.Veronica is the founder of Vulnerable AF which describes itself as an international movement, event series and coaching program that encourages vulnerability and connection. A place where diverse leaders from all walks of life gather together to have meaningful, courageous and vulnerable conversations in a conscious and safe space.Upfront, I have to say that having a podcast conversation with someone in this space is in equal parts scary and exciting. Scary in terms of where the conversation might go and where I'd be pushed to go myself as a result and well equally for the same reasons. For whatever fears I might have had, this just turned out to be a beautiful conversation together which is relative to anyone that wants to dive a little deeper into themselves and get a bit more comfortable in who they really are. To be vulnerable. We talk about vulnerability in depth, how it shows up in our lives, how to recognise it and some tools to work with it, we also talk about identifying it in loved ones and how to be there for them, how to be a good friend essentially to someone that needs it. I really hope you enjoy this and get great value from it.
