Creature Commandos Season 1 has released in its entirety, so it is time for the Phase Hero podcast to discuss the 7-episode run which launched the DC Universe! The Bride, Rick Flag, Nina Mazursky, Weasel, Doctor Phosphorus, and more have officially been introduced to the animated world and some are headed to live-action DC Studios titles ahead of Season 2! Den of Thieves might be on its way to making Butler's Nick and Jackson Jr.'s Donnie into characters a franchise can build around. The movie flips the script and forces their characters to work together this time, rather than having them feuding and running from one another as they were throughout the first Den of Thieves movie! Batman movies are being delayed with both The Batman 2 and Brave and The Bold having been revealed as pushed back on Friday morning. This prompted speculation about whether or not James Gunn's DC Universe will combine the franchises he is creating with David Corenswet's Superman and Matt Reeves is building with Robert Pattinson's Batman. Plus, Sony's CEO Tony Vinciquerra made remarks about the studio's failing Spider-Man franchise which doesn't have a Spider-Man in it and, naturally, the Internet reacted.
