S6. Ep. 1: Paul Vunak - Journey of a Martial Arts Legend
How do you accidentally become a close personal friend and student of both Dan Inosanto and Rickson Gracie? Paul Vunak is a legend in the martial arts, a man that many feel is the true successor of Bruce Lee, a former hand-to-hand combat instructor for SEAL Team Six, and holder of more accolades than it bears to mention.
He is the founder and head of the Progressive Fighting Systems and he has been the key component to bringing Bruce Lee's art of Jeet Kune Do into today's real world of combat. He has bridged the gap on how to break down the "MMA Matrix" with traditional arts of Wing Chun (specifically trapping), the destructive combat proven art of Filipino Kali, the power and finesse of boxing and Muay Thai, the ground equalizer of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the Filipino art of Kino Mutai and the core of the R.A.T. program - headbutts, knees and elbows.

What a ride this episode is. From growing up around crime, drugs, alcohol, violence and murder, to spending years of his own life in prison after a life-and-death knife fight, to now training law enforcement and private citizens how to prepare for violence... it's fair to say Varg has a unique story. S5. Ep. 8: Psychopathy and Sociopathy with Gershon Ben Keren
How often do we hear self-defence instructors talk about "psychopaths", "sociopaths" or "random psychos" in scenario training, or discuss boogeyman threats? Yet, how many of them truly understand the terminology they are using?
On this important episode, Krav Maga instructor and author, as well as clinically trained psychologist, Gershon Ben Keren, debunks many of the myths and misconceptions around these conditions. This is one not to be missed.
