Ep 28: Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win Book Club.
This episode we're discussing our adult book of the month, Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win, by Jo Piazza! We LOVED this book. It's simultaneously such an important book (it's the first fiction book about a woman running for office), but it's also a light, easy read. This book sparked some important conversation (We were nervous to talk about politics here!) Join us next week for advice, and in two weeks for our YA Pick... Children of Bone and Blood! Ep 27: Two Tough Topics — My Boyfriend's Friends Hate Me & Should I Break Up With My Bestie?
On this week's advice ep, we're diving deep on two in-depth advice queries. In the first, a listener is struggling with being hated by her boyfriend's friends. Then, we reply to another listener question from someone who is wondering if they should break up with their bestie. But it's not all tough situations! Becca has a work victory, Grace finally got some quality time with her gravity blanket, and we have a new favorite podcast. Plus, we explore the joy that is The Rock's Instagram account. Ep 26: Save the Date Book Club + All the Nostalgic feels.
This episode we're discussing our YA book of the month, Save the Date by Morgan Matson. This is the cute story of a big family, + a wedding where anything and everything can go wrong. Spoiler alert (though you probably already guessed it) Becca loved it, Grace was just meh. This episode made us nostalgic! It gave Becca big family envy and made Grace think about the nice boys she dated in high school. Oh, to be young! Join us next week for advice, and in two weeks for our "adult" pick: Charlotte Walsh Likes To Win - we both really loved this book and can't wait to chat about it. Can't get enough Bad On Paper? Plus, we have thoughts to share from our trips (Becca to Portugal, Grace to Sweden), so many reading recs, and infinite joyful that gravity blanket season is upon us. Ep 24: Ghosted Book Club, + Our Best (Worst?) Stories of Being Ghosted! (Also, hi from Morocco.)
This episode we're discussing our "adult" book of the month, Ghosted by Rosie Walsh. Sarah and Eddie fall in love, and then he bails. But what really happens? Turns out they both have some pretty big secrets. There are a few twists in this one (which we didn't see coming), and it inspired us to talk a little bit about dating in New York (it's a battlefield). We both share our best (worst?) stories of being ghosted. We recorded this episode while on vacation in Morocco. This was one of the best trips either of us have taken and we spill all the details in the post! We are taking a two week hiatus but will be back on September 26th with an advice ep! In the meantime, our next book is Save the Date by Morgan Matson. Can't get enough Bad On Paper? Join our FB group for amazing book recs & more Follow us on Instagram @badonpaperpodcast

Ep 23: We've Got Wanderlust — All Your Travel Questions Answered. Plus, Grace's Passport Drama And Becca's Work Turnaround!
We're headed to Morocco today, so we have travel on the brain. Not to mention, we both have a serious case of wanderlust, generally. This week, we're answering all your travel questions — from the best apps for flights, our top destinations to travel next, and our packing strategy (or in Becca's case, lack thereof)! In other news, Grace almost couldn't go on this trip because of her passport drama, Becca's work life had a real turnaround (from low to high in one week), and Grace has a new style inspiration (Dads and retirees?). Join us on September 5 for our next book club discussing Ghosted by Rosie Walsh. Can't get enough Bad On Paper? Ep 22: Circe Book Club and Hello From Cape Cod.
This episode we're discussing our YA book of the month (even thought it's not really YA if you ask us), Circe by Madeline Miller. While a knowledge of Greek Mythology is definitely not mandatory to enjoy this book, if you loved mythology in school (we did!) this book will feel like a deeply personal reunion with all your mythology favs. We loved this book!!! We recorded this episode in Grace's parents' living room on Cape Cod. Cape Cod was both of our highs of the week - Grace came for a week and Becca came for the weekend. So nice to get a little sunshine and relaxation! Join us on August 22nd for our next Book Club to discuss Circe by Madeline Miller. And we will be putting out a call on Instagram for questions for our next advice episode! Can't get enough Bad On Paper? This week, we're answering all your NYC questions — whether you live here and need a new spot for a girls night out or you want to plan the best visit ever, we have so many recs! But otherwise, everything sucks... Grace's computer saga continues, Becca has the flu, and we have a few haters. Thank goodness we have some good book recs to get us through! Join us on August 22 for our next book club discussing Circe by Madeline Miller (and to see if Grace can figure out how to pronounce the title!) Can't get enough Bad On Paper? Ep 20: All We Ever Wanted Book Club, Becca's Mexico City Adventures and Grace's Bad Luck.
This episode we're discussing another "adult" (not YA) book, All We Ever Wanted by Emily Giffin. She is one of our favorite authors and we both felt the same way. We didn't know if we'd like it, but we LOVED IT!!! Also in this episode: Becca's Mexico City adventure (spoiler: she might move there), Grace's recent streak of bad luck (RIP laptop), our instagram obsessions (@thatlinearttho and @sheisnotlost), and much more. Grace is whipping up DIY beauty concoctions, Becca is taking Spanish lessons... we have a lot to say! Join us on August 22nd for our next Book Club to discuss Circe by Madeline Miller.
