This episode we're discussing our YA book of the month, Save the Date by Morgan Matson. This is the cute story of a big family, + a wedding where anything and everything can go wrong. Spoiler alert (though you probably already guessed it) Becca loved it, Grace was just meh. This episode made us nostalgic! This episode we're discussing our "adult" book of the month, Ghosted by Rosie Walsh. Sarah and Eddie fall in love, and then he bails. But what really happens? Turns out they both have some pretty big secrets. There are a few twists in this one (which we didn't see coming), and it inspired us to talk a little bit about dating in New York (it's a battlefield). We both share our best (worst?) stories of being ghosted. We recorded this episode while on vacation in Morocco. This was one of the best trips either of us have taken and we spill all the details in the post! We are taking a two week hiatus but will be back on September 26th with an advice ep! This episode we're discussing our YA book of the month (even thought it's not really YA if you ask us), Circe by Madeline Miller. While a knowledge of Greek Mythology is definitely not mandatory to enjoy this book, if you loved mythology in school (we did!) this book will feel like a deeply personal reunion with all your mythology favs. We loved this book!!! We recorded this episode in Grace's parents' living room on Cape Cod. Cape Cod was both of our highs of the week - Grace came for a week and Becca came for the weekend.
